  1. Thanks for the correction. And ya, but if I used a 3-4 scheme, I would have had to use guys like Justin Smith as a defensive end which just doesn't sound right in an "all NFL team". Maybe a Richard Seymour would sound alright.
  2. I wouldn't say KC sucks, but I don't think they'll make the playoffs like they did last year. I too, am hopefull (and somewhat optimistic) that the Bills will win week 1. But us Bills fans always make these stupid predictions then end up eating our words, so what do I know.
  3. Ya, I don't think too many people here are expecting a Bills superbowl this year...
  4. If you could build your ideal NFL franchise with current players, who would you choose? QB: Manning RB: Peterson FB: Leach TE: Witten WR: A. Johnson WR: C. Johnson LT: J. Thomas LG: Mankins C: Kalil RG: J. Evans (Cheated) RT: Long (Ya, I cheated again) DE: Freeney DT: Wilfork DT: K Williams (Had to show some Bills love) DE: Peppers OLB: Matthews MLB: Willis OLB: Ware CB: Revis CB: Asomugha SS: Polamalu FS: Reed K: Vinatieri (I don't care how old he is. The guy is money) P: Lechler
  5. Charles, Rice, then McFadden in that order
  6. This is like dumping your girlfriend cause you think you'll be fine without her. Soon after, you realize how much you miss her and how stupid you were. I want my Lee Evans back <3
  7. I was wondering the same thing. Monday @ 3 pm ET?
  8. If I lived in Buffalo, with tickets that cheap I'd be there, no doubt
  9. When I found out that Merriman was a huge reason why Morrison signed, I gained a new enormous respect for Shawne. This isn't the first player he's reached out to during free agency. I knew Merriman was also critical for the signing of Barnett (a huge acquisition in my opinion) but I didn't really think too much about it at the time. I just thought they were buddies and wanted to play together. But it's becoming more and more apparent to me that Merriman is serious about winning and is serious about making the Bills a better team. He re-signed with the Bills when I'm sure he could have received a contract (sure, maybe a smaller one) with a better, contending team. He was on the sidelines for more than one occasion last year while injured, cheering his teammates on. During his first pre-season game, he played with a ferociousness that I am not accustomed to seeing from most (if any) Bills players. And now, he is bringing in coveted free agents (especially Barnett) that I doubt would have been possible with Nix and the front office alone. Sure he has issues off the field that most people may not support, but whether he plays or is injured all year, he has already contributed more than anyone thusfar. It's refreshing to see someone take this team seriously. No whining or complaining on twitter or making media outbursts like countless players in this league. I used to despise the guy when he played for San Diego, but he has quickly become one of my favourite players on the Bills. I really hope he has a great, injury free season to resurrect his career.
  10. That would be wonderful. And if the Patriots win another superbowl, I will snap
  11. I dont really get all the love for Batten. Sure, he gets coverage sacks against third teamers. But against legit players, I haven't seen him demonstrate anything that would suggest that he has much potential to be an impact player. Just my opinion
  12. 09/11 @ Kansas City Chiefs W 17-14 (Charles will be neutralized for the most part, but will break one huge TD. Freddie has a good game) 09/18 Oakland Raiders W 24-17 (Fitz has a good game and gives the fans a huge sense of false optimism after the home opener) 09/25 New England Patriots L 49-13 (And there goes the optimism) 10/02 @ Cincinnati Bengals W 31-17 (Stevie J and Merriman have big games) 10/9 Philadelphia Eagles L 35-10 (Cannot stop Vick and Fitz has a miserable game) 10/16 @ New York Giants L 24-6 (An ugly one. Giants seem to always dominate us) 10/23 Bye 10/30 Washington Redskins (Tor) W 17-9 (Redskins suck. And without actual homefield advantage, it'll be closer than it should be) 11/06 New York Jets L 24-10 (Sanchez and Greene both have good games) 11/13 @ Dallas Cowboys L 34-21 (This will be an ugly defensive effort) 11/20 @ Miami Dolphins L 21-17 (Miami wins on a late TD) 11/27 @ New York Jets L 14-3 (Pathetic offensive display) 12/04 Tennessee Titans W 27-24 (CJ shreds us but Freddie has a monster game) 12/11 @ San Diego Chargers L 38-14 (Rivers. Bills secondary. Enough said) 12/18 Miami Dolphins W 17-13 (I refuse to say we'll get swept by the hapless phins) 12/24 Denver Broncos W 21-20 (We won't be playing pure base defense. Denver isn't a great team) 1/01 @ New England Patriots L 35-20 (New England never eases up. Ever) 7-9. Another year without the playoffs and we eliminate ourselves from the Andrew Luck sweepstakes
  13. I hope to God it's over. Otherwise, we have no pass rush. If he's under but knocks Brady out for the season, that's acceptable as well.
  14. Never been but I heard Papa Bob's Bar-B-Que is amazing. I applaud your dedication. GO BILLS GO!!
  15. Not like Kelsay will be missed, but looks like alot of our starters will be on the sidelines for Saturday. Another pre-season loss followed by "we suck" threads is imminent.
  16. Merriman is the best GM we've had in years.
  17. Well, Buffalo isn't ever going to be considered a hot spot to pick up beautiful women, but I definitely won't complain about those pics. I wish all of our Jills looked like most of those girls...
  18. The Rogers company is just as cheap as Ralph when it comes to spending money on quality. Sure, they'll toss crazy amount of money to get the Bills, but we'll see the exact same product on the field with a terrible fan base in Toronto. Take a look at the Toronto Blue Jays. One of the biggest markets in baseball, but they refuse to spend money on good players, and every year come up with a mediocre record. And don't be fooled, the Rogers company is FILTHY rich. If we ever move to Toronto, it will be a sad, sad day.
  19. They must seriously be worried about Peytons health. Without Peyton, even the Bills can beat them.
  20. But on the other hand, we have some of the most dynamic kick returners in the league (Brad Smith, Spiller, McKelvin, Roscoe). This rule basically neutralizes them from that aspect
  21. So far, Pears has looked like a semi-legit NFL right tackle... That has been a surprise to me. Emphasis on "so far"
