That happened not to far from me. Poor old guy. Instantly reminded me of a time when I was 16 and driving a 1977 Ford LTD. I was at a Wal-Mart Parking lot backing out of a parking stall and gunned it thinking I could whip it around Dukes style. I ended up t-boning a k-car. Totally crushed in both the passenger side door and the rear door of the k-car. I frigging killed that car. I panicked and took off. Got home, there was not even a scratch on the LTD. The bumper took it all. There have been several instances in my life where things have not went well for me and I always thought back to that day and karma.

What is really interesting is that OTC had Orton under contracted players last night, not listed under dead money. Today, he is gone from contracted players and is now in Dead Money... Somebody watching the hits on their web page no doubt. NFL still has him listed as active though.

I did not see the player specific page, thanks for pointing that out. This is why I posted... Learn something new everyday. This is precisely what would suck if he does not retire and plans on returning. Surely we can find someone better. Would the Bills even allow it? Part of me wonders if he was just trying to avoid the media circus of our offseason.

Who said I was worried? I am mainly curious if anyone has heard anything regarding this. Most players who announce retirement file their papers shortly thereafter.

Does anyone know when Orton plans on filing his retirement papers with the NFL? The NFL website is still showing him as an Active player. The reason I ask is due to the cap implications of when he files those papers. I want EJ to get a fair shot. EJ was our draft pick, and I like the kid--he has all the tools, just needs to put it together. That being said. I think Glennon would be the best guy to bring in for competition. Let the cream rise to the top. I would not be surprised at all if that was EJ.
