  1. This is just so bizarre
  2. Different discussion but i thought Haack was the worst player on the roster - and yea probably cost the Bills points if not losses
  3. Actually I’m responding to circumstantial evidence: Araiza admitted to having sex with her Her injuries Even the defense lawyer saying “wasn’t in that room” which means he believes she was raped
  4. On pure talent, Araiza is the type that takes you from 90% to 95%. Field position is huge with a team as talented as the Bills. They’re almost going to get at least 1-2 first downs a drive and that means you’re gonna always have the opportunity to force opposing fields to drive the field against an elite defense
  5. Fair enough, I guess I got really frustrated by the few posts here and here reading Twitter
  6. You dont think an NFL team on the verge of winning a SB would give an extra helping of doubt to someone who could be hugely important to winning that SB? Look I’ve pretty much lost faith in ANY major multibillion entity doing the morally/societally correct thing, rather than looking at everything through a cost/benefit/risk lens
  7. The what was the evidence they submitted to the DA? And why submit evidence to the DA if the police don’t believe a crime was admitted? Again you start with the assumption that this young person is lying
  8. Twitter and Bills Mafia is really starting to gross me out If my workplace found I’d been accused of being part of a gang rape of a 17 year 8 months prior to getting hired out of college, and all they knew was that I admitted to sex and told her she needed to check for STDs because I had chlamydia, and there was physical evidence of some sort of violence l, I’d be out of a job. The only entity that has to fully care about Innocent until proven is the Justice System and any other public entities. Private organizations are well within their rights to look at the circumstantial evidence they have at hand, and make their own decision on whether or not it’s worth it go forward with that employee- I see almost no upside here for the Bills keeping Araiza. Finally, the lack of empathy for women is astounding. Why don’t women speak up? Just look at the comment warriors on Twitter and that’s all the answer you’ll need. Women who speak up get destroyed
  9. I still can’t believe this statement
  10. No one of them has to be over 18
  11. Id be much more furious with the PR team said “thoroughly loved investigated matter”, because that means at MINIMUM the Bills know he had sex with an underage girl
  12. You realize he admitted to statutory rape right? https://www.cwsdefense.com/blog/2020/june/exceptions-to-californias-statutory-rape-laws/#:~:text=In California%2C it is illegal, informed consent to sexual activities. Matt was 22 when this incident happened. At BEST - a drunk girl started talking to him, and he didn’t bother to get her age, and decided the best course of action was to have sex with her, and that drink girl was 17. Someone who was over 20% younger than him - senior in college. He shouldn’t be on this team
  13. so basically what Matt’s angle here is that he had sex with her consensually but had nothing to do with what happened in the bed room.
  14. My one defense of the Bills is that the cops aren’t going to tell anyone that they’re investigating someone for a crime involving an underage individual, which means they likely knew nothing of this until the civil charges were filed. What “thorough examination of the matter” means is anyones guess. Does it mean they thoroughly read the civil suit?
  15. My apologies an on going criminal investigation. the Bills statement was not something I would have advised them to say
  16. What I want to know is if the Bills knew if there was an ongoing criminal case
  17. Folks please read the details. They went to the cops the day after the alleged rape, and the police have being investigating since, and have recently submitted evidence to the DA on whether or not to file charges
  18. I mean there’s enough detail/circumstantial evidence here - especially with Araiza admitting to a sexual encounter with here - that you need to suspend him until the criminal portion of this plays out. The accusations are heinous
  19. Not a medical exam, but what she claimed was her injuries: From the LA Times article The teen “stumbled out of the room bloody and crying. Her nose, bellybutton, and ear piercings had been pulled out, and she was also bleeding from her *****.” —— Also believe there’s a statute of limitations for tort cases in Cali of a year, which makes sense why they filed civil suit now, as the incident allegedly happened in October
  20. No the story details her going the cops the next day. They stalled the case and I think there’s still a criminal investigation going on / but my guess if they got frustrated and went to civil courts as they dawdled
  21. He already admitted to having sex with her. Unless the physical injury details reported are just wrong, then there’s some minimal predatory stuff going on here. The details of the mere medical exam are horrific
  22. Just bought Rams - Bills tix. Gonna be a Bills home game. LFG!
  23. Elite, elite athlete at corner. You can be more scheme versatile as well
  24. Yea, that's a good question. But this match is on Black Friday at 2pm - with almost no competition other than people still out shopping (which most do online now), and some travel after thanksgiving. It's almost perfectly set up to maximize ratings
