When you're saying Shorter has to be an option on offense - that's the issue. And I think you're over-egging the pudding about the targets. Kincaid and Shakir are very good but still learning, as is Cook. Coleman is unproven. Samuel is decent. None of them are elite, at least yet. The Bills have gone backwards, and will be expecting even more from Josh to be successful as it stands.

Shorter is going to be the 5th or 6th WR in the room.

I never said elite. They're all pretty good. Take a look at how the Packers built their WR room. Versatility.

we don't ened elite WRs when  you have 17, you need a plethora of good ones

Nope, I’ve never said this dude sucks. And I’m not a Franklin guy.

I do think once again that we are falling short of giving #17 the weapons he needs and don’t understand the benefit of the doubt that Beane and McD are getting from some of you on it while McD and the high amount of resources he’s gotten for his defenses have let us down literally every single postseason and every single big moment.

17 now has 4 legit undeneath targets who are all good to great in Kincaid, Knox, Shakir and Curtis Samuel, and then we just added a bona fide deep threat/deeper route concept guy and cn complement him with last year;s 5th rounder who does that in Justin Shorter, and whats brand new compared to last season, 2 of those underneath guys can be deep guys and YAC guys in Shakir and Samuel.  Then you also have James Cook who is a top 3 weapon out of the backfield in thee NFL.

If Allen cant crush it with what he's been given, then he's not the guy we think he is - and already proven to be.

This WR set is now deeper, faster, and better than anything Allen has had since 2021, and possibly then to because there's more versatility here

Won’t happen. They see things the same. Even if they didn’t, mcdouche holds more weight with Terry Moneybags than Beane.

You realize we had exactly 3 legit rotation players at DT yes? Like Ankou and DeShawn Williams are practice squad level players. Like Williams singed a $1M deal. at 31.

You could have argued that DT rotation was a bigger need than perimeter WR, because at least Justin Shorter exists.

Haha. I know the salary cap terms like dead cap and cap hit get confusing but the 9ers definitely save money trading Deebo. Took a 5 second google search to prove.

You can just admit you don’t know what you’re talking about lmao

The issue isn't the Niners saving cap space, but how would the Bills fit Deebo's 20.9M base salary into a $2M cap

Hahah it takes a tweet from Field Yates for everyone to relax about trading for a high priced WR?

I’ve been saying it non stop since the Diggs deal . It isn’t happening

My thing is post June 1?

They might have to send someone like Kair Elam the other direction, but they can afford a Cortland Sutton

Beane isn't just going to sit on 10M of cap space

Unless they traded and resigned one of those players.   If they add years to the contract they can then backload it.

I dont want Deebo but its not impossible.

I do believe the Bills would have to trade someone, though honestly because of Dead Cap and bonus money paid I'm not even sure that would work to find 15M of cap space

    Lol in what way?

The same guy Bills fans couldn't wait to get off the team? The same guy who Bills fans said wasn't even good enough as a number 2? I guarantee Rice will be better in no time, if he isn't already. Completely blinded by homerism.

It also doesn't change my original point. "Lucky" or not, the Chiefs have a better track record with their WRs than us. At least they hit on one.

I'm being a homer on a guy who I'm indifferent on if he stayed or left this season, and certainly believe he wasn't worth the money the Jags gave him?

People are freaked the ***** out by the Chiefs name. They've been basically awful drafting early other than 1 particular pick

Hill was lucky because of the horrific and accurate character concerns.

Beane hit on a 4th and 5th round WR, and you’re trying to portray that as a negative.

Rice is fine but Sky Moore is a wasted pick, Mecole Hardman is trash. The Chiefs have spent more capital on WR and have the same as the Bills to show for it.

Also Gabe Davis is better than any Chiefs WR other than Tyreke Hill
