    I hope to see Indianapolis tear up the playoffs. I truly think Manning is deserving of a Superbowl win. Oh, and the attitude of the Steelers today made me really dislike them. Did you see the player on the sideline making the "whiff" motion (five times) after our defensive back missed a tackle?

    I'm all for Losman. I think a lot of people want another veteran because a "rookie" quarterback statistically rarely ever has a good first season, and a lot of people couldn't stomach another losing season. I think we have the perfect situation to groom a new QB, with our team gelling so well the past season.

    I think in that scenario Denver goes. I could be wrong, but I know that we can't get in no matter what now.

    I never even thought of this possibility. I would be all for this scenario. Is Drew's contract up? If so, we could spend that money on other areas.

    Have you EVER, even once, placed blame on Drew Bledsoe? (seriously -- I'm not trying to be mean, but I think I've seen you blame everyone else this season except him)

    The worst part about this situation is that Drew is a good guy and is well-respected in the locker room and throughout the league (as far as I know). If we move him to number 2, will there be an RJ/Flutie-like backlash with players resenting the coaches or pitting one side of the locker room versus the other? That could be very destructive.

    Yes, our NUMBER THREE DEFENSE IN THE NFL sucks really bad. Fire them all.

    The network can turn the crowd volume up or down at will (the feed -- not the actual crowd). FOX seems to keep the crowd noise turned up more so than CBS. Great post Mark.

    That's exactly what I'm saying. An onside kick is very difficult to execute and fails around 90% of the time. You can't blame Lindell for that (try blaming him for a 20 yard FG miss)

    Are you being facetious? I think this was a great season overall, and a big improvement over last year. We still have some fat to trim, though.

    I can't see him going anywhere, no matter how badly I want it. His post-game comments lead me to believe he will convince the higher-ups that he had no part in this loss. My guess? We'll see him start again next year -- but hopefully not for long.

    89 of those yards came with 2:14 left in the game (when there was virtually no chance of winning). So up until 2:14 in the fourth, he had a total of 100 yards.

    We finished the season at 9-7. That's not too shabby.
