  1. As Doug Whaley wanted out of our WR, Odell Beckham had a "generational" type season for a rookie.
  2. Did I mention anything about a QB in this thread? No. But perhaps a 1st round pick in this years draft could be used in a trade for a QB. Nope. The regression is not because of Sammy but the overall impact from the 2013 to 2014 season the offense regressed. It doesn't matter if Odell Beckam would be the pick or not. I wouldn't have drafted him either. How can you say Zach Martin wouldn't have an impact as much as Sammy Watkins with such certainty? You are just making things up out of thin air. The Bills o-line was one of the worst in the league and the Bills didn't have a single 100 yard rusher all season. The o-line was a disaster. I can't tell you how much of an impact he would have (just like you can't tell me) but certainly he would have IMO been the better pick.
  3. And there are lots of people that think it is an oversight especially when there was not a proven QB on the roster. It's called an opinion and it is a relevant discussion to be had. Even though Watkins had a good year, the overall impact showed a regression in the Bills offense. Also, teams use a single draft pick all the time on players that end up great players and all-stars. Odell Beckham only cost 1. Let's be clear here though, I wouldn't have drafted Beckham, it would have been Zach Martin.
  4. People are not negative on Sammy but the idea of using two first round picks and a 4th to draft him was a major oversight from management. This opinion is not hindsight with a lot of people either.
  5. The fact you think me posting that means I'm saying Watkins is a bust makes YOU a marroon.
  6. Re-sign Spikes, sign Frank Gore and a solid FA TE pickup (Julius Thomas).
  7. ....and like a magic trick....gone (don't think we will see him anymore this season). Yes. IIRC Mike killed a suspect. The guy was beating his wife (not mikes, his own), he was arrested and they released him on bail or something and then he went on to kill her. Mike I think then killed the guy when he found out. He was then thrown off the force. IIRC.
  8. The main thing to this equation is the defense. Our offense sucked balls this year and our defense kept games close in the 4th quarter all year so plays mattered late in games whether it was carpenters 57 yard game winning field goal, 7-11 grab at the one, or an incredible catch by chandler on a game winning drive. There is more to this than one player but the majority goes back to play on the defense with respect to our .500 record.
  9. LOL. The Bills had 2 top 5 units out of 3 (defense and special teams) and Sammy was part of a unit that regressed and was bottom 3rd or worse in the league. "WINS" didn't come from Sammy Watkins. The main difference between the records of these clubs is because the Bills defensive unit was absolutely amazing and the Giants was awful.
  10. Was Odell Beckham clearly the superior rookie in an outstanding WR class. YUP! Was Odell Beckham injured all year and in only 12 games played up to a level that was last seen 16 years ago by a rookie (Randy Moss). YUP! A once in over a decade rookie campaign.
  11. Beckham played the entire year with two torn hamstrings in his right leg and blew up the best CB in the league and even admittedly so by an individual that doesn't give credit to anyone (Sherman). Odell Beckham had a Randy Moss rookie campaign and was injured the entire time...that is incredible.
  12. Hahah, that was you? Yeah, his response was something like it's not a Belichick type move because he decided not to pick him up last year after his suspension was over.
  13. A show about pre Walter would be pretty boring. It would be like Malcolm in the Middle. Post Breaking Bad he is dead or fatally shot (he couldn't move) and eventually would be in jail, so there isn't much of a story there either.
  14. He sure was literal.
  15. Yes. Encore of EP. 1 and EP.2 afterwards. Starts at 9.
  16. The other two individuals that have given this place the most credible inside information is Leroi and Nevergiveup and they have 42 and 286 posts respectively. Post count means absolutely nothing in terms of credibility in fact I find there is more credibilty and less attention seeking.
  17. The show is shot in the same place so it makes a lot of sense we see some of the same sets. That diner was used a lot in BB.
  18. Really liked them opening up the show in the future (Jimmy/Saul is a broken man). I think this show has a lot of promise. No Mike as a cop (hopefully they have some flashbacks with him) and our friend Tuco is back! The scenes were very Gilligan like (shots through the mailbox and such).
  19. The sad thing is the majority of "Bills fans" only realized this after opting out of his contract.
  20. What I find very ironic are some of the individuals that questioned Ralph's motives are the same ones that have posted blatantly false information quoted by" sources" in the past. What is obvious is that Ralph is connected to the orchard park area.
  21. It's a 6 year swing in one direction for me.
  22. Richie Incognito will be a MUCH more valuable transaction for the Bills than Mike Williams and all the regulars here loved that move.
