  1. Actually I am the opposite of delusional. A fricken realist. The Green Bay Packers are the franchise model on how to build a team.
  2. Less than half...somewhere in the 40% range the Bills roster is home grown. That is failure of Doug Whaley as assistant (coming up with the draft board each year) and currently as GM.
  3. 64% of green bays roster is their own. That's how you build a team.
  4. I'm calling McCoy's contract an albatross because of: The relative cost of that position vs. productivity Mileage and age at the RB position vs. productivity Injury concerns (see 2)
  5. Again you are arguing about stuff I never stated. I never mentioned restructuring. Right now the cap is really bad for 2016. I can't comment on stuff like Mario restructuring because we have no idea if he will. My point is that Whaley has us in cap hell entering 2016. It's not going to be as easy as you make. There are A LOT of hurdles. To say they can "do this", "do that" is pretty naive IMO.
  6. Having a different outlook, perhaps a more realistic outlook IMO that doesn't jive with your opinion doesn't make it an agenda.
  7. The bolded is just an odd statement. What does that even mean? The numbers are what they are. The cap hits are what they are.
  8. What does Marrone being "in over his head" mean? Loyalty?
  9. You are speculating that the Bills can free up A LOT of room. We really don't now that as a fact if that can get done. Right now the Bills are in cap hell in 2016 thanks to shady contracts like McCoy's.
  10. Over the cap has the Bills with a cap number in 2016 at $150, 000, 000. That is cap hell.
  11. The only new information about Marrone is that he wasn't "loyal". It didn't change the fact that he was a horrible HC in his two years with the Bills.
  12. That's not the point I am making about Kiko. He is not a top shelf LB but I would rather still have him than a declining RB with an albatross of a contract.
  13. Lawrence Taylor would disagree. So would Barry Sanders.
  14. You loved St. Doug. You were quick to shoot people like me down and said he was a good HC and "changing the culture" after year one and two...until he resigned.
  15. Even in this context I would still take Kiko vs. McCoy and his albatross of a contract.
  16. 6 million is not a cheap rental but yeah the Bills can get out of it after one year. Bills never had to give up any assets (players or draft picks) either. The funny thing is that the McCoy acquisition is going to do more damage to the Bills than Harvin. Harvin is a bad signing no doubt but it will have little to no affect on what the front office will be able to do going forward.
  17. Even in hindsight with injuries and all I would still rather have Kiko than McCoy and his egregious contract.
  18. There is a lot of speculation going around about the passport...
  19. Overrated by TBD: McCoy Watkins McKelvin Hughes Clay Kyle Williams Wood Felton Underrated by TBD: Graham Robey Darby Carpenter Brown
  20. No way Rex gets fired after one season. Rex was handpicked by Terry and Kim Pegula. The old guard get's fired, the guy Pegula wanted to replace with a football czar. The person that goes is Whaley if things go south.
  21. Nope. I got it right from the beginning. Look it up!
  22. Like: Using a first round pick on a QB that was projected as a 3 round talent or later. Using two first round picks on a WR without a proven QB. Trading for a high miliage running back that is in decline and giving him 25 million guaranteed. Throwing the majority of the cap at the defensive line, one that is severly underperforming. Not using enough resources for the offensive line.
  23. Agree with what you said. I hated the idea of the Pegulas hiring Polian though.
