  1. The legend of Kiko
  2. It's a hilarious leak. Last season, besides the off season stuff, you didn't hear any of this during the season. Now, a full season later, it's still Rex's fault Bowles can't get his team under control.
  3. I swear people need to watch and pay attention to players of other teams. Julio Jones has missed nearly identical time to Watkins. Actually it's really weird how similar their career paths have been.
  4. And they've faced just about every great NFL QB in that time frame.
  5. Unfortunately, I think this falls into the refs not wanting to determine the outcome of a game, and letting the players play. It wasn't illegal contact, per the rules, but it certainly could have been called unnecessary roughness.
  6. Actually they have and do call that penalty.
  7. It doesn't matter, the play is dead. He made contact with a player after the play was dead, that is a penalty. It's no different than if a runner who is pushing a pile, whistle blows the play dead for forward progress and a defensive player comes in after that still trying to stop him. The play is dead, player gets penalty. If Carp is a QB, that's a penalty. EDIT: And what does Carp kicking a ball have to do with hitting another player? Carp didn't hit Sherman, he didn't try to tackle a Seahawks defender. The logic does not go both ways.
  8. That shouldn't even matter where he intended to go or what he was intending to do. Whistle blown, play is dead. Hitting a player after a dead ball is a penalty.
  9. Whoops, brain fart.
  10. From my understanding he just watches film and looks for weaknesses which he then gives to the secondary coach, he's not doing a whole lot more than that. John Blake is who you want to direct your questions to. Ed Reed just gets all the camera time because he's.... Ed Reed.
  11. This is the rule, all it means is illegal contact can't be called. The reason for this is because a defender, once the QB leaves the pocket, is not award if the WR is a blocker or receiver. Pass interference can still be called, defensive holding can still be called. And on this play something like hitting a defenceless player might be able to be called, seeing as Powell is away from the play.
  12. You do realize he isn't the secondary coach right? He's just an assistant.
  13. Maybe you could get him on a defenseless player call because Powell wasn't attempting to block Sherman but I don't see the official calling that, not at the end of the game.
  14. Sorry guys but that was a completely legal heads-up play by Sherman, QB is out of the pocket, no more illegal contact.
  15. Wouldn't they have had to change the decals already? They had the throwback decals changed by the time the Bills practiced on Tuesday of last week.
  16. Right, but that would be part of the settlement. And that would be added time to the when the Bills could sign him. It hasn't been reported is that's the case, guess we won't know unless the Bills sign him after 3 weeks or not
  17. Yup, if this is the Bills actual plan, it's a pretty clever one.
  18. It's a nice way of getting him back on the team, if that's what's happening, without them having to use the IR designation.
  19. Actually he can resign with the Bills, they have to wait 3 weeks though. It's part of the new injury settlement. It used to be 6 weeks wait. In the meantime he can sign with any other teams. The settlement takes him off IR and means he's passed a physical, otherwise they wouldn't have been able to do the settlement.
  20. More like all rumor. Media guys love to drum stuff up.
  21. Yea, he has said the Eagles would be willing to give a 5th for either Gilmore or Haden type CB. And has said Gilmore is available.... hasn't said the eagles want a 5th for Gilmore.
  22. Not that I'm going to dismiss the rumor but this is the time of the year that all sorts comes out. Sheldon Richardson had reportedly been shipped to multiple teams, Ashton Jefferey is available for trade, etc. Who knows if any of the rumors, the ones that don't actually come to fruition, are actually true.
  23. I don't mind it. I like it better than giving up future assets and bringing in a player who has to 1. learn the playbook and 2. develop chemistry with TT. This does both of those. In season trades rarely work anyways.
  24. They benched him because he wasn't good. That's a fact and your excuse for why EJ is where he is now. How am I reaching?
  25. Thanks, I did read it. You complained about the coaching staff for EJ, an excuse and a very common one among EJ fans, while saying TT gets all these excuses made for him and EJ gets/got none made for him. So apparently you can make excuses for EJ, then say he gets none, but that most Bills fans give TT excuses. Just look at this thread for proof that plenty of fans gave numerous excuses for EJ. "Some of you guys" is not me, so please don't go lumping every fan together.
