  1. Finally some pressure!!!
  2. Well, pass rush seems to be an issue thus far.
  3. Defensive holding calls, on runs. Massive LOL.
  4. Yea, and I didn't like Tolbert on the stretch play... which got the holding call.
  5. They are rotating. It happensz
  6. He was just in on the FG attempt
  7. Bills DL, no pressure.
  8. Meanwhile the Browns are still Browning... blocked punt and score for the Steelers.
  9. Defense looks good. Lots of gang tackles.
  10. So far Clay seems to be the biggest problem. Dropped pass, false start and a terrible block.
  11. Uh what? Seriously? Hahahahahahaha
  12. He was t down by contact because of the trip and he didn't fumble when he tripped. He had his knee on the ground and Eric Wood tackled him, as soon as Wood touches him he is down. He can't fumble.
  13. Exactly what I said.
  14. He means when Wood made contact with him, and stripped the ball, 58 had his knee on the ground... he hadn't stood up yet.
  15. I was going to start one yesterday with all the games, as I remember we had them last year. But I saw what was said when I searched. Weird.
  16. Excuse me but I said why I disagreed with your post, you are the one who replied with "my post speaks for itself." And I pointed out to you, and others have said the same, Gilmores responsibility/awareness whatever you want to call it, is for what's in front of him and that's how zone works. His asked to be responsible for or be aware of the players in front of him. That's the scheme, thats how it works, that's how it's coached. What you are suggesting is that he should freelance. Players need to do their job, a famous Pats saying. He can't possibly know if another player will come into his zone if he turns and runs to stay with Hill. But as I said before, carry on and I'll leave you to your opinion.
  17. Good one, I love how you ignored everything I asked and instead suggested I refer to your own misinformed post.
  18. Yea you did, you don't understand defensive schemes or calls.
  19. So just ignore the coaches huh? Gilmore should just ignore what the called scheme is? And yes, there was someone coming near his zone, there were 2 shallow crossing patterns that mirrored each other. One on Butlers side and another on Gilmores. Yes the LB was covering him but eventually he would enter Gilmores zone. Is the LB just suppose to know that Gilmore is of in man/man coverage and that he now needs to be in man?
  20. Seriously, it's not hard for those that don't understand Cover 2, google it. There are plenty of pictures that show how this scheme is played and where there zones are defined. And to those saying he should have just carried on covering Hill: First, is he just suppose to ignore a coaches call and cover man/man? Second, what happens if the LB passes his player, the slot receiver in this instance, off into Gilmores zone and he's off trying to cover Hill? Is Gilmore suppose to just assume the LB keeps covering someone in Gilmores zone? Is Gilmore suppose to know what's going in everyone else's zones while watching the QB, which is what you do in zone? Watch Butler, he does the same exact thing Gilmore does and his vertical route is wide open too. Both Safety's bit on the vert middle route instead of getting deep.
  21. Haha whoops, nice spot. Brain fart.
  22. Really? The game was tied going into the half, Patriots came out and scored and the Eagles responded and scored. It was tied after 3 qtrs. I'd maybe say the Pats controlled the 4th qtr but McNabb also threw in int with 7:20 left in the game, forced the Pats to punt the next drive and then drove down and scored.
  23. If you look at how Andy Reid has fared against the Patriots, he's actually kept most games pretty close. His record of 2-6 isn't great but he's 2-1 now as the Chiefs coach against the Pats. The only real blow out was the first matchup in 2003 when the Patriots beat the Eagles 31-10. Here's the rest of the match-ups: February 6, 2005: Patriots 24, Eagles 21 - Super Bowl, Eagles came within 3 with 1:48 remaining and McNabb threw a int. November 25, 2007: Patriots 31, Eagles 28 - AJ Feely was the starting QB and threw 2 ints on the final two possessions. November 27, 2011: Patriots 38, Eagles 20 - Again starting backup QB Vince Young September 29, 2014: Chiefs 41, Patriots 14 - Monday Night game January 16, 2015: Patriots 27, Chiefs 20 - Playoff game
