I agreed with taking the points, he was trusting his team to get the ball back, and march down again. The fake punt I don't feel one way or the other about. If it succeeded, he would have been deemed a ballsy genius.

I don't think there's anything wrong with critiquing Tyrod's play, while also praising his good moments, and the fact that the team has won 3 straight games. Our running game and defense have stepped up the last three weeks, and thankfully Tyrod takes care of the ball. But that doesn't mean Tyrod is playing well, overall. He's missing a lot of easy throws, and still slow on decision making. Hopefully he grows some more this year, otherwise we might need to think about another QB to groom (not necessarily replace Tyrod right away, but put some thought into someone else as our 'franchise QB for the future')

Yeah, can't fault the numbers. I would like to see some more 'pounding' inside runs with a bigger back, to grind it out at the end of the game, though. McCoy is a wonderful homerun hitter, but sometimes we just need to get 3 tough yards, and that's not something he's great at.

It's amazing how QBs on here are only judged by win-loss records I guess, Philip Rivers sucks! Edit: To clarify, I don't think Tyrod sucks, he's just not making the strides I'd like to see him make. I really like that he doesn't turn the ball over, and sometimes extends plays, though. I just don't think he's 'franchise'. He's a middle of the road starter, which is enough for this team currently.

Glad the rushing attack and the defense finally showed up, Tyrod is looking shaky as hell, but sometimes pulls a big play out of nowhere. A win is a win, I'll take it!

Glad I paid money to watch this soft as baby **** defense, and completely illogical offense.

If we can't get a first down on 1st and 5, we need to seriously rethink our offense.

We are in for a long day if we continue to lose the field position battle.

Why do we always catch the ball just short?

In a way he did, his presence made Rams players take bad angles. Don't need to put a helmet on someone to make a block.

I can't really fault Carpenter for that, blocks happen, and the snap wasn't the greatest.

I'm glad they finally decided to shut him down. We're not making the playoffs, no reason to force the issue. Let him rehab and heal, and come back strong next year.
