  1. I was surfing other teams forums today and went on the jets team forum. To be frank I was not surprised at all what I saw. A bunch of cocky probably middle age fat guys talking about how great their team is. However, on one particular thread there were several bills fans posting on there. It's the 2 teams will make the playoffs of this group thread. I plead you if you're a member here, to please shut up. You are giving us a bad name with your defensive cocky comments about the Bills. We all know the Bills as easily as we're up we can be right back down. Let's leave it to other fans to underestimate us. There is absolutely no need to go on another teams forum and give them waht has probably become their only impression of Bills fans. Stop making us look bad. -A concerned fan.
  2. Didn't sean Bryson have a game where he had two really long runs?
  3. After reading the training camp blogs I drafted Scott Chandler with my last pick in my fantasy league and told my friends to do the same. I didn't start him this week but he's got a healthy 21 points on my bench :-\

  5. Hey guys I'm trying to win a community service award at my school. If you could take 5 seconds out of your day and get some friends to do it I'd really appreciate it. 6. They may not be all that good. But, even watching Eli manning yesterday. He had a sub par game and him and his brother are having sub par seasons quite frankly. I feel like being a quarterback is more your on field mentality and your leadership than your stats. Look at Kyle Orton. The Broncos are terrible, the fans want Tebow and he's close to top of the league in every statistic.
  7. This was quite possibly one of the most misguided and wrong statements I've seen on this message board. If you watch anything on the bills offense they say Fitzpatrick does a great job of looking at one receiver and directing the attention to him while finding somebody esle who's not the primary target. Stevie Johnson said in a press conference Fitzpatrick made great reads and that he threw to him when he wasn't even the primary target a couple times. the bills should build a defense and an offensive line through the draft and then try to build a winning team. I think quarterback is not our concern and we already saw how a Stanford quarterback faired in our system.
  8. I don't know ho you could infer that Fitz could never take the Bills to the playoffs. Sure he makes a few dumb mistakes and overthrows his receivers sometimes ut that comes with the territory. He's smart, can throw the ball, and can read defenses like nobody I've seen in a Bills jersey before. I think in this season we have 4 wins granted our defense steps up and maybe 5 if Fitz played in the Miami game. We simply do not know. We have much more pressing matters to take care of in the coming drafts, and I for one would not mind seeing Fitz starting as our quarterback for the next 3-4 seasons. I finally get excited watching the Bills play
  9. I don't really see how you could make that trade. Hernandez is great, Johnson has been fantasy gold, and ahmad bradshaw is one of the top 5 rushers in the league. Marshawn is also bound to have a breakout game.
  10. There's an excuse for everything regarding to Fitz. If he has the game of his career, people say he's not accurate enough he wasn't that good. Even the bests like Brett Favre and Peyton Manning throw bad passes and interceptions a couple times in the game. The only downside I see on Fitz this season is his size, in the past I've been very dissappointed with his play, but this season he's shown he can start in this league. If the defense was there we might have a shot.
  11. Personally, the most embarrassing thing for me is that nobody roots against us. I have friends who are Dolphins, Patriots, packers, Broncoes, Jets, and a ton of other teams fans. None of them dislike us. It's almost like we're the nonthreatening friend of the whole entire league.
  12. I'm saying. He created opportunities I like that we're utilizing Steven Johnson and David Nelson and it's just wild people can still be upset with his play
  13. What did he do that was so bad? He made great throws, allowed his receivers to make plays (Steven Johnson) there were just so many dropped passes. And he's a great runner. I don't really see why he's the embodiment as to why this team sucks.
  14. After today I have come ot the conclusion that we can never be satisfied with anything. We played a ****ty game. Our line sucks, our defense sucks, our running backs can't find the holes, our special team sucks, our front guys suck. But, everybody keeps saying that Fitz isn't a good starter he's not a long term fix. What I saw in him today is a lot what I saw in Doug Flutie, he did everything in his power to make positive plays. He made good throws (many of which were dropped) and had a positive attitude the whole game. I think quarterback-wise judging from what I've seen in two games this is the most comfortable I've been with a quarterback since the days of Flutie. The rest of the team is awful and we should start trying to fix that. I think if Mark Sanchez or Chad Henne could be considered long term starters, Fitzy can possibly be our guy.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I32Wd3tOlk&feature=fvst He's a youtube sensation
  16. Completely dissappointed in Edwards I had complete faith in him. He did show promise, in that pass interference he would've hi Lee Evans in stride for the six had it have gotten to him. I think given time in the pocket he'd be much more successful. UCONN 2013
  17. Yards are yards. People need to stop saying he was good except he had a 50 yard pass but not that good. Isn't that what we all wanted? Big plays come, and if you can make them happen that's the difference between an average NFL team and a playoff calibur one. We haven't had the ability in the past, but there has been a big play in every preseason game this year and I can't help but be hopeful for the regular season.
  18. He's actually my good friend from high school. He was picked for his potential, as a project player. He's got incredible size and strength, that superior to most nfl players. I absolutely hate the jets but I do think he'll work out with proper coaching.
  19. It's utterly ridiculous that people say other than the long ball he sucked. He had a great qb rating. Made some great plays and threw generally good passes. The long ball is part of the game. You can't exclude that factor when evaluating somebody's performance.
