  1. Really like this signing! Cant wait to see Shady run behind him...
  2. I've seen him play a countless times including a few in person. He is incredibly talented rugby league player and obviously its a completely different game but I think he has the skills to be a really good special teams player. Rugby league is known for its tackling and that combined with his speed I could see him being a gunner and also a returner. I cant imagine Hayne actually playing running back in the game because that is too drastic of a change but yeah definitely has the potential to make a difference on special teams as his position in Rugby League is very high pressure and always dealing with high kicks, returns and try (touchdown) saving tackles... Good on him for trying though. The NFL is really popular in Australia and this will only increase peoples interest so its good for the game. Also just to explain as its confusing, Hayne played Rugby League which is a different sport to Rugby Union which is mainly called Rugby. The rugby world cup is whats happening in London during the Bills game there this year and that is not the sport he played.
  3. Does this agent double as a private QB coach? I hope so...
  4. I would think its more the international fans they are missing out on. the NFL is getting extremely popular in Australia/NZ/South Africa and other massive rugby countries and with that many people in town at the same time its a missed opportunity to share the game with them without taking it down there...
  5. Yeah its not very smart especially because there is a chance England might be playing in the world cup semi final. I think they should have done a Thursday game or something over there. I know about 20 family and friends who are flying to the UK from Australia and New Zealand for the RWC who would have definitely gone to the Bills game (because I have turned most into Bills fans) but yeah on the same day as that game no chance, it's basically the equivalent of hosting a cricket match during the world series haha. And its going to be hard to get USA fans to go over for it because it will cost a fortune. So many foreigners in town for the rugby, good luck getting a hotel. But yeah hopefully this just means the bills wont play overseas again anytime soon. Anyway GO BILLS
  6. This is really stupid on the NFL's behalf. October 25th is also when one of the semi finals of the Rugby World Cup is being played in London. The RWC is one of the biggest sporting events in the world and having a game compete with one of the biggest games is just stupid. If it was a day or so before maybe it would attract some attention but on this date...not so much!
  7. I'm somewhere in the middle of liking and disliking. I'm from Australia but moved to NYC 3 years ago. My best friend back at home is a huge Giants fan and living here I definitely don't mind the giants, especially after the super bowl wins over the Pats. But since moving here my hatred for the jets has definitely gotten stronger. I've been to sporting events all over the world and I never been amongst such horrible fans as the jets. Cant stand them!!
  8. I just saw Mel Kiper jr gave us a C- draft grade... Is that a joke? He gave the Panthers a C and they still don't have a tackle. Im over these Idiots! He gave the Patriots a C if people care.
  9. I'm the Australian Ambassador to Buffalo...
  10. Wow! It felt like this was on the cards when he had that meeting with Russ just after Chan was fired but its still crazy to see! Fingers crossed he left us on a high note with this draft class!
