Really. Get over it guys.
-
Sucks for them.

I love that they went big in the draft. Forget the skill players if you can. The Bills are taking a stab at an identity that will feature their RBs and maybe mask any QB deficiencies. Makes a lot of sense to me.

It's a free country. I don't care that he didn't avail himself of the opportunity and I don't judge him for it either. There are some days that I might not go meet the president, whomever he may be.
Now Gilbert Perreault on the other hand…...

Good teams get good calls. I seem to remember a WR getting mauled in the Houston comeback to Bflo's benefit and I'm sure Bills fans weren't bitching.
Seattle was allowed to man handle WRs last year. When the Bills are good, the calls will even out.

This pretty much sums it up for me.To believe that, you have to agree that his short tenure as GM was not his fault, and he had little or nothing to do with the GM or HC hires/fires over the 2006-2013 time period. I don't think either of those are 100% accurate, although I will concede the point that he didn't have complete control over that time, I do believe he had an impact with the on-the-field product, I guess we can debate how much of an impact that was.
Whatever the division of power, Brandon has been around during some pretty lean years. So have Littman and Overdorf. If I'm the new owner and I'm looking for accomplishments in evaluating Sr. management, I'm not sure any of those 3 gentlemen have done enough in any role to justify trusting them with MY new investment.
New owners will have their own people. Absent a staggering resume full of accomplishment, I expect RB to be reassigned, if not replaced.

I can't blame someone for questioning the people who have presided over this team since 1999. I am just amazed that enthusiasm rides as high as it does without a winning season or 2 to prop us up.Classic example of a fan(allegedly) working really hard to be as negative as possible. Really don't understand why some of you even follow this team. The Dolphins could use some fans. Go follow them.

Forget all the sound and fury. Strip away the grand speeches and new commitments. Ignore his obvious passion for the area and his desire to build a winning franchise.
Other than rebranding them as the "Regional Bills" and successfully marketing the hell out of a truly terrible product, he has done nothing to contribute to this being a successful franchise where it counts.
That's his past. That's his resume. Whether he can make this translate into future success is anyone's guess, but if the new owner is concerned about winning AND he looks at Russ' resume, he's a goner.

God that's good….It's hard to speak in the NFL.

Or get REEEEAAAALLY annoyed by the music…..

Reported on Sirius NFL just now.
OOps!!!

Credit is due.Wasn't throwing darts....if you go back to 2013...same sources led me to the trade and drafting of EJ Manual. Just wish I had some insight into rounds 2 & 3...

Philadelphia got less for Deshaun Jacksonso really, essentially we traded stevie and a 6 for williams a conditional 4 next year
contracts not wildly different. got younger, got healthier, probably got more physically talented, mightve gotten crazier though, and improved on the draft pick side.....
-
What I'll really miss is his clutch game sealing and game winning receptions.

I think you're still in the position where playmakers are still out there. Even if you don't get your OT, there are guys like Tyson Clabo out there whom you can bring in for a year.
If you heard any interview with Austin Sefarian-Jenkins, you would want him to be the pick. Sounds like he has a deep appreciation for what it takes to be a good professional and he has a pretty good skill set as well. Jace Amaro is a matchup nightmare. And knowing you have NO RBs under contract after this year, I don't know how you ignore Carlos Hyde.
So my vote is to continue building the offense with yet another playmaker. Since Whaley was talking about giving EJ some weapons, I think ASJ will be the guy.

Drafting 32nd next year...HOW AND THE HECK IS THIS A GOOD DEAL ?????
WE GOT FLEECED:
#4 - 1800 POINTS
#9 - 1350 POINTS
#9 - 1350 POINTS
4TH - 100 POINTS
total - 2800 POINTS
-
Sure…Whaley may not even be here with new ownership n all. Makes sense.OMG! Next years #1 & #4

If SF wants to trade up, at least according to the Trade Value Chart, it would require their 1st and both of their 2nds, plus a little. If I'm late in the 1st, I'm thinking Bitonio, Juwan James or Rashid Hageman. Or better yet, then trade out of the 1st and have like 5 - 2nd round picks and an additional 1st next year.Bills are pimping the fact that they like OB Jr. San Fransisco likes him too... SF trades us their 1st rd pick #30, 2nd rd pick #56 and their 2nd 3rd rd pic #92 to move up to #9 and take OB Jr.
That gives the Bills 5 of the top 92 picks in the draft. Look for them to grab:
1st Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State
2nd Jace Amaro, TE, Texas Tech OR Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington
2nd Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State OR Jeremy Hill, RB, LSU
3rd JuWuan James, OT, Tennessee OR Cyrus Kouandjio, OT, Alabama
4th Chris Borland, ILB, Wisconsin
This is just a thought of what I can see (would love to see) happening!

THAT'S WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!! WELL PLAYED!! -
This is the ultimate "I told you so" thread.

Some truth to thatThe reason the Bills gave up long yardage on cut backs over the middle was not all the fault of the D line. The line backers got to fill those gaps. Ours didn't . Spikes in the middle will help a lot.
-
+1000I thought it was a need before dummass got arrested. Neither of our DT's are good against the run.
There's no way Donald gets to or gets by the 9th pick.I think the odds of Donald at 9 just went up
-
Your statement has a chance if you change your "or" to "and".Throw a a big long corner on him or a safety over the top and he's done in the NFL.
-
+1. I can't put it any better than that.If they stay at 9, Zack Martin
If they trade down, Eric Ebron or Odell Beckham
I may be wrong, but I don't see them moving up in R1.
Did I see Anthony Carr above? Is he related to Derek Barr?
Martin can play all 5 positions and played a ton of games for ND. Not a sexy pick, but pretty safe.
