  1. More like a strong #2, than a true #1.

Say that because a true #1 is "open when covered" like a Julio Jones or Dez Bryant. Sammy isn't as tall as those guys, and lacks the leaping ability to make up for it and win jump balls. Of the current crop I see Beckham and maybe Evans becoming true #1's.

By that standard, Rice, Reed, Harrison, Largent, Tim Brown, and actually everyone in the HOF is not a true #1. If he can get open and make plays, he's a no 1.

  2. Bringing up stupid stuff like this fist bump destroys the credibility or more appropriate complaints, like:

    1. Why isn't intentional grounding even discussed when Brady, Rogers, Manning, et al do the same thing Orton did in Miami?

    2. Why are DBs on good teams allowed to hold on every play (did you see Browner last night?) and Gilmore called for everything?

    3. Why do bad teams hold and good teams just "play physical"?

The problem with officiating is real and is further proven by the NFL putting these shill refs in the booth to agree with most every call on the field. Like the fans can't possibly understand what a bad call looks like.

  3. The Chiefs are giving up nearly 5 yards per carry and are bottom 5 in the league in YPC. So you run like crazy, right? They are also the ONLY team in the NFL NOT to give up a rushing TD. I think that changes this weekend. I have to believe the game plan is heavy run with short passing mixed in. Own the time of possession and make them play from behind.

Regardless of Fred's ability to go, I think you go heavy Bryce Brown and hope he breaks one.

  4. I voted NO. I meant it and had very good reasons for voting as such.

    I was wrong.

This guy is the best parts of Andre Reed and Eric Moulds rolled into one. He's clearly the best player on the team and worth the defensive back Cleveland is going to draft with the 20th pick in the 1st round. He's making Orton look pretty good and vice versa.

  5. All they do is what we do in Fantasy Football: Look at yesterday's results and compare them to today's schedule. There is very little insight and, as teams emerge, many surprises.

The Bills have definitely elevated themselves from a bottom feeder to a 2nd tier team. They probably will not make the playoffs, but are capable of beating playoff teams.

  6. Im telling you guys....you should not want to play the other teams with their players hurt

We need to beat these teams at full strength....its the only way to get a sense of how good OUR team is

I don't get that logic at all. Who cares how good we are? Or how good they are? If the Bills go a fortunate 10-6 with great timing against injured teams, I'm ok with that.

God knows I've seen enough 6-10 with our guys injured.

And who is this Robert Parrish mentioned above??? I didn't think Goodwin was that tall.

  7. I always wonder what the reason is for a post like this. Complaining in hindsight is weak and leads to boring and predictable conversation. Now if you tell me that you PREVIOUSLY posted what is proving to be the perfect draft for 2013, that's one thing. But to criticize this young and unproven (either way) crop of prospects 18 months after they were picked is just plain weak.
