    He wants attention.

Or is it entirely possible that he has a legitimate beef with some thing and this is pretty much the only way he can show his displeasure outside of requesting a trade?

Do we know if any conversations were had over the off-season about this how did the bills staff let it get to this point if so?

They had an entire off-season to do something and help ease the storm a little bit yet here we are.

I’m in the Camp of all parties probably share blame

You think today will impact his job?

No. But I just can’t happen to think or feel that the pressure is building and we might be seeing some small cracks in the foundation. not sounding any alarms at all. But this season will certainly be an interesting one.

whatever happened today is very clearly football related.

I mean what's McD supposed to say about a guy there was there in the morning before practice and then left without being at practice, apparently without him knowing what was going on?

If you believe Diggs agent McD and Beane very much knew he wouldn’t be there and talked the day previous and in the morning.

    Odd situation all around.

McD is a team guy so am sure he said something along the lines he's extremely upset if somebody didn't show up. Yet have a feeling he didn't know at that moment as to why he didn't show otherwise he'd make a different comment. As I don't see him to throw his players under the bus yet the press likely find a way to make it seem that way.

I mean he kind of did that with 13 seconds too…

Josh doesn't want to go on double dates with Diggs anymore because Josh dates a higher class of woman now. Hailee Steinfeld can't be caught dead with the riffraff Diggs puts up in hotel rooms for Valentine's Day.

I heard through the grape vine that Hailee gave Josh an all tomato.

she told Hollywood she didn’t want him hanging out at Diggs place anymore

it was either her or Diggs and his riffraf.

Diggs feeling are very hurt. He turned to substance. Hence the substance rumors in this thread.

I completely trust Simon when he says Diggs was upset about Dorsey in the playoff game.

So you may be right on with your thought it is about the direction of the team.

    Doubt it's Josh related.

Na, the Diggs rant, was clearly directed at Josh because he was out the night before the Cincinnati game bangin Hollywood Broads.

Diggs wanted him to be at his place playing call of duty.

Money has changed Josh and his big timein Diggs now. Josh is all Hollywood now and is too good for Diggs.

Because you spend all of your time studying sub-atomic particles, you can be excused your ignorance, but it's ignorance nonetheless.

Scientists who work in the field have shown conclusively that traumatic events have serious, long-term, psychological effects.

In some instances, it's called post-traumatic stress disorder.  They've also shown that multiple traumatic events has more serious cumulative impacts.  For example, children who experience one serious traumatic event typically recover; children who experience three or more are quite likely to have serious, long-term negative psychological issues.

This particular group of men, more so than most pro football teams, is closely attached to the community.   A mass murder of the kind that took place in

Buffalo affects many people in the community for a long time, including many people who did not witness the event and did not lose a loved one.  I live in Connecticut, and the community of Newtown has not recovered from their mass shooting, and that event took place ten years ago.   They are not close to recovering.

On top of that, the team's owner, a virtual family member, had a major health care incident.   The brother of one of the players died.  The community suffered a snow storm in which more than 40 people died.  And finally, one of their teammates nearly died, in the field, before their eyes.

It was an unprecedented emotional year for a football team.  Other than the Marshall plane crash, I can't recall anything remotely similar, in quantity of events and magnitude of events.

It's ignorant and insensitive of you to sit comfortably at your keyboard and dismiss it all as nothing.

How has Kansas City been able to win multiple championships.

they have had several mass shootings there?

if they don’t win it this year is it fair to blame it on the mass shooting that happened 3 weeks ago at a KC night club?

also jesus comparing a plane crash that killed an entire football team and coaches to a shooting is a massive massive stretch.

I’ve learned that Buffalo is an extremely sheltered city that lives in a bubble and pretends the world is full of rainbows and unicorns.

  8. I think there are two different ares to judge McD.

As a leader of men - excellent. Probably one of the best if not the best in the league. He’s a guy we all wish we had as a boss.

as a football Head coach - average. Game day and roster decisions are head scratchers at times. Time out usage is confusing. Still needs improvement.

McD is a top 10 coach. His in game management still needs to get better, but he keeps the team in check.

He lead the team through the shooting.

He lead the team through the blizzard.

He lead the team and saved the NFL from itself with Hamlin.

The team still went 13-3 last year with all of that going on.

McD is one of the best leaders in the NFL and easily a top 10 coach.

I like Sean McDermott, but the over exaggeration of a shooting in Buffalo happening in the middle of the off-season while most players weren’t even here really having an effect on this team really grinds my gears. The talk about how heroic Sean McDermott was, and that whole situation really really annoys me.

Not to mention as sad as it is to say mass shootings happened in this country nearly every single day and a lot of them happen in NFL cities you don’t see other teams using that as an excuse of why they didn’t get to the Super Bowl.

Shameful. Delaware North is a Buffalo business

Keep in mind that Jerry Jones wanted to move our Bills out of town. And how did we respond? By giving his company millions

every Bills fan should be pissed about this new stadium

Maybe DN shouldn’t suck at what they do then?

the food was downright awful at both Sabres and Bills games.

the last two things I bought at the stadium, a cold hot dog and a pizza slice that looked like it came from a box of Tony’s frozen pizza.

we will see if it’s any better, but anyone who paid attention to the situation saw this coming.

  11. Pulled from a blog:

OCGA Sec. 40-6-393 allows for a driver to be charged with vehicular homicide if he "causes the death of another person"

VH is a misdemeanor if the death is caused by what I'll call a "normal" moving violation, e.g. speeding or running a stop sign.

When the predicate offense is a more serious one such as racing or reckless driving (or if someone leaves the scene), it's a felony.

What this means: a prosecutor could decide to indict Carter for two counts of felony vehicular homicide and he could face up to 15 years per count.

This is not to say that is what will happen - the charges were referred to the solicitor who handles misdemeanors, but the solicitor could very well refer the charges up the ladder to the DA.

I've done the same thing too, but that's not what Carter was (allegedly) doing. Going 100+ down a long empty road and going 100+ through an area with other cars on the road and likely people on the sidewalks are 2 completely different things.

I feel like we are also ignoring the BAC levels that were reported.

Did he bolt because he was also heavily intoxicated?

Now we can go blame somebody else

You have to get through the regular season in order to get to the playoffs

But I would like to see some new blood

I assume they hire from within as well.

they will have the same scheme.

agreed about getting new young blood in.

maybe even though scheme is different the play calling will be more effective/efficient. That’s the hope at least.

I don't know anything about this kid but I read that he can add some grit, isn't afraid to hit and drop the gloves.  If that's the case I am completely on board with a move like this.

There is being tough which we all wanted but and he is a complete liability on the ice.

Vancouver fans are thrilled he’s gone.

he’s a very bad player and has been every place he’s been in.

4th team in less than 2 years as well.

Weird we are still waiting on the trade details hours later. I wonder if they are trying to get ahold of a player involved in the trade first? Or if there are issues with the trade itself?

I guess it came down to Vegas, New Jersey and Carolina with Carolina dropping out last night (or so says Pierre lebrun)
