Obviously I meant in intermediate/deep passes to the outside which was my initial point. But please, intentionally misinterpret my comment.

No matter how you spin it it’s wrong.

Tua leads the league in two categories.
    shortest time of release

    Furthest depth of target.

it’s almost unfathomable to lead both of those.

they put hill and waddle in motion and have them running nearly top speed at the snap which the bills will have to deal with it because it’s impossible to stop when you are flat footed because they will both run by you.

Have you? He only throws floaters to the outside or on busted coverage. This Miami offense is beatable (despite the pathetic display the Broncos put on).

    “Only throws floaters”

competed 16 straight passes to start the game.

if Josh wants to only throw floaters and put up those numbers I’m game.

Well, they've played two mediocre teams (Chargers and Patriots) and one poor team (Broncos).

They've been impressive offensively, but let's not crown them the champs yet. They literally did this last year and couldn't sustain it.

the Bills have played 3 very bad teams as well and the Bills somehow lost to the Jets team who had the wind taken out of their sails and quit when Rogers went out.soo……

Yeah nothing about their defense scares me at all. Really ONLY thing that doesn’t have me thinking this is a two score win by Bills is all that speed they have on offense.

Reminds me of the Manning lead colts.

the best defense is a great offense. It makes the other team 1 dimensional.

Buffalo should take the ball first regardless if they win the coin toss and try to eat clock and be methodical. Keep Mia offense on the sideline.

    I feed on it

    Who is “ginning up fear”

the Dolphins are a scary offensive team. Thinking otherwise is just being ignorant.

Buffalo needs to ball out this game.

hopefully Miami blew their load all against the broncos though…

Ignore what happened today. Denver has a bad defense and gave up. Look at what the Pats did last week on Sunday night. Pats would have won that game if they could generate any offense.

No, don’t ignore it at all. Miami has proven that they are probably the most explosive offenses in the entire league. I don’t care who you’re playing you put up 70.

Miami is a legit threat and this game is going to be a dogfight

Everyone is worried about Allen - don't be.  He has shown resiliency throughout his career, and has what you want in a QB:  a short memory.

The Jets defense is elite, and they have wrinkles which have consistently given JA problems.  That in itself IS a problem, but it doesn't indicate some wider, more overarching issue.  It was just a bad match-up to have for the 1st game of the season.

The Bills are going to bounce back, and have a great season.  I have no doubt on that.  The team I saw last night was better than last year's.  The defense was stronger.  We gave up some runs, but that pass rush was fierce, and our LB's and secondary looked solid. I thought Bernard had a great game.  Kincaid is who we hoped he would be.  The O-line held up pretty well against one of the best fronts in the league.

The loss was solely on Allen.  And that isn't a bad thing - because he'll be better.

    37 turnovers last 19 games.

84 turnovers since 2018 to lead all active players.

maybe he should have a longer memory and memorize not to do that stuff anymore.

Yes, very likely that Jets still would have won on a FG, but.....

It IS an issue because it's either gross incompetence by the refs....no way that wasn't seen by 3-4 refs as it was in the open field, right next to the ball carrier....or the "fix" was in. Also, why couldn't the TD have been overturned on replay review, as all TDs are reviewed?

In terms of issues. I’d rank it dead last.

so they have the ball at the 20 instead of a TD.

they run twice and then kick a chip shot FG on 3rd down.

    bills still lose.

Untimely overpursuit with respect to run defense and qb pressures, piss poor or inconsistent blocking from the offensive line, terrible clock management and situational playcalling, and a qb who unfortunately gets too emotional and makes poor decisions at the worst possible times.

The o-line was fine. Allen makes the o-line look awful

  9. I’m a huge Georgia Stan so I like Cook but he’s a pass catching back morn than a workhorse back. He’s never going to be break tackle guy. He will get you the big plays with his speed if he has a good size hole to run through.

he’s going to have a 3-4 year career here and then they will move on.

RB doesn’t matter, until it does.

    My tinfoil hat theory:

He was working on the dl, hush-hush, behind the curtain with Beane.

Lol so is Beane also responsible for trading out of the Pick that was Patrick Mahomes or is that still Whaleys fault?

Other than a starting LB in the 4th who's All-Pro, a starting WR in the 4th, a mid-round TE that's been a really good contributor for us, a 5-year LT, et cetera, ad nauseam

But yes this Basham thing is awful, Schoen's been taking us to the woodshed since he left

    um…..

Beane didnt draft Milano or Tre, so I stopped reading right there. Thank you, Doug Whaley and the Whaley Scout team.

Was about to say. Beane had nothing to do with that.

Beane has drafted Allen and that’s pretty much it.

A topmcomment on Twitter from a giants guy was the giants are excited for having him and this bills are happy for more draft capital as they plan to rebuild?

    What? What planned rebuild?

The Bills are 41 mil over the cap next year according to spotrac. They have work to do. it partly speaks to the not being able to get rookie players contributing.
