If true I have zero issues with this for a number of reasons.

He's a great guy in terms of his off the field contributions and he defied the odds this year being a bubble guy that was inactive most the first half of the season to emerging as a key piece for this defense down the stretch.

But at the end of the day he's not worth the money that he probably can get on the open market which is why this is likely a valid rumor and still think we need a more dominant presence at DT next to Oliver.

You're still planning on losing your house when McDermott doesn't get fired next year, right?

Just like any profession, there's always going to be internal conflict within an organization.

If this current regime and roster had won a SB this was be epitome of a non issue, but you do have to be concerned about this type of information after the debacle at the end of the Chiefs game and connecting the dots here.

And I maintain it paints a picture about McDermott that furthers the point that he may not be as safe in Buffalo long term that some believe. You also have to wonder if his message has become stale in the lockerroom how that may impact things this summer. If this team gets off to a slow start this season or fails to meet the right expectations (i.e. SB appearance at minimum) I would bet the house that McDermott will not be in Buffalo next year.

Where do you get your moving boxes from?

  3. The comments I read (including Siran Neal) about NOT paying our players crack me up. Some on this board want 22 All Pros playing on rookie contacts. Beane has built a solid draft, development and pay program and the Bills team is constructed for long term success. Knox showed is his ceiling from day one. Since, he has steadily and consistently improved toward reaching that ceiling. Lock him up. I am sure Beane will find the number that works for the team and the player.

Good signing with Neal. Good signing last year with Dawkins, Tre, Josh and Taron Johnson. Now it is Knox's time. We now have been a top AFC team for two years and will be for the foreseeable future. The plan is working.

  4. I saw this, this morning. 2022/23 promises to be a fun and intense season. As a 50 year Bills fan, I am still pinching myself that once again, we are in a place where the Super Bowl is our legitimate expectation.

As a side note, I believe that in this year's playoffs, we saw that Josh Allen learned how to funnel "sugar high Josh" into "kick your livin' @$$ Josh". I believe he will be something to truly behold next year.

Allen not injured in 2020 Rams game.  Starting G were Ford and Winters.

Pretty sure Donald lined up over Winters, who was flagged for holding and illegal block several times.

That was the game where Allen got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after an uncalled face-mask, horsecollar tackle, and strip sack by Donald.

He later got a facemask penalty called on him - the play by play does NOT adequately describe the mayhem of that down.

You may be thinking of Joey Bosa in Chargers game, who tackled Josh outside the pocket and corkscrewed him down, injuring his knee (thankfully, not badly)

Excellent use of the word "mayhem". The b*tch-slap Josh gave two Ram D-linemen on that play will always be my favorite moment of our Josh Allen experience.

There was some mystery surrounding his release when it happened.

Sounds like he got his feelings hurt and couldn't handle a little competition.

Memo to Quinten. This is the NFL, the best of the best. Everyday, every down, you compete for your job. Every team is constantly looking to get better. Get over yourself, get to work and earn your job again, in the next weight training session, the next drill or the next play. This is the NFL.

This was a great day in a horrible season.

I was in the Air Force, stationed in Sondrestrom, Greenland when this game happened. Everyone on base (all 110 of us) knew I was a die hard Bills fan. When we got news of the Bills upsetting the Cowboys, the entire base partied, with Jägermeister, all night. It is a little known fact that on a cold winter’s night in 1984, Sondrestrom Air Base was not prepared to defend our country.

I honestly hate this team so much right now. We spent some much draft capital and money on a defense that looks like garbage most of the time. I’m tired of it honestly. We have to find a way to keep scoring more than KC and that means more speed WRs and o-linemen to give Josh even more time.

Thank you for making me feel good about my level of emotional stability.

Do you want to bet the season on Rousseau, Basham, and Epenesa taking a step?

I'll enthusiastically make that bet on Rousseau, currently a man-child who's huge frame can fit a lot more muscle and still has much to learn.

I am also willing to make that bet with Basham, although cautiously.

I am rooting for Epenesa, but not willing to bet.

KC fans donating in $13 increments to Oishei Children's Hospital. At least something good will come of it.

My hat is off to KC fans. Celebrate your win, have some fun and help a good cause. As the Bills Mafia has shown, this is sports at its best. And, they got me laughing in the process. Thanks KC fans!

Super quiet night for both Knox & Diggs. They combined for 5 catches/ 16 yards. Terrible

While I do agree with you, I believe all the attention paid to Diggs helped to open the door for Davis's career night.

My dude, if we lose tomorrow on a QB draw with 14 seconds left, I guarantee Sean, not Beane, will be the guy talked about.

If we call a QB draw with 14 seconds left in the game tomorrow, Josh will score on his own and win it. He is, after all, Josh @#%!ing Allen.
