He will be fine. Enjoy the closer games because by the mid point of the season with the way the D is playing we might be winning by double digits every week easily...kinda like last year toward the end.
I just want to go on record and say that I’m ok with that.

Opening drive of second half tells you what you need to know about Josh Allen. He will be just fine. Given lack of pre-season playing time, first quarter of season is essentially pre=season.
^^This. The Patriots spent 20 years being just a bit out of sync early in the season. We all know how that played out.

What did Knox do to stand out today? Not a challenge, I am excited to know.
I struggled with streaming the game and missed (had the audio on Sirius) a LOT of it.

@Cinga posted this a while ago, and I went through and tested it, hopefully this will help those that find themselves unable to get the games on their local CBS station.
If we ever meet, Mr. Just Jack, I will not simply buy you a drink for this - it will be dinner, drinks for the entire evening and a bottle of bourbon to send you on your way.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I think they can.

I wonder how everyone feels about Charles Davis' comments after Allen missed that wide open long TD. Said he's too pumped up, referenced the full house of fans and managing emotion. Hmm.
You’ve got a point here - because we all know that passes over 40 yards have an NFL-wide 70% completion rate.

For the past few years the Bills have had 5 home uniform combinations. The all whites(current and throwback), blue over white, all blues and all reds. They will wear all of these at home. I saw on the uniform gridiron database site the Bills already posted all white throwbacks for their week 13 Monday night home game against NE. I imagine Kim is the one who is behind this. I don't think Terry, Brandon, and Sean care about stuff like this. IMHO.
Is this simply based on a 1960 view of gender roles and interests? Do you suppose she also picks out tablecloth colors for team meals? I wonder if she folds the napkins in fancy shapes for each setting.
I'm going to speculate that marketing plays more of a role in game uniform selections.

31-13 Bills. The offense we enjoyed last year is the real deal and I believe our defense is primed to bounce back to form from last season's early injuries.

I am happy for Tyrod. He represented the Bills well. While he may be a bit limited as a quarterback, he was a hard worker, a quality leader and someone who I will always be happy he was part of the organization. Good people are worth acknowledging.

Is it because I'm an old curmudgeon, or is that commercial kinda dumb? A simple "Yes" is an ok answer.

The pass to Beasley on the 1st and 15 was an incredible pass. (Where he is running towards his left and then throws a perfect pass, across his body, towards the right.)
I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned more.
Josh continues to improve, and I honestly don't know where his ceiling is. He's just a joy to watch play the game.
While I was watching the game with a preseason (relaxed with feet up) frame of mind, that pass made me stand up and shout "holy s#**!”. It was outrageous.

Imagine if Motor was fast. You’d really have something there.
Trubisky looks like his accuracy is off a bit today.
Imagine if Thurman was fast.

The most encouraging report from camp today is that Allen is taking what the defense gives him. We have so much talent around him, he doesn't need to play hero ball. If we dink and dunk teams to death it's just as effective. If he had played that style against the Chiefs we would have had a fighting chance.
Applying the Chuck Norris mythology here:
Josh Allen tells the defense what to give him.
And, so it is.

I can see where that would supersede the knowledge of those doing the planning, engineering and budgeting of a stadium build coinciding with a stadium teardown. I mean, it's not much more than putting a new she-shed in your backyard, right?

If the stadium price is really 1.4B, and it is not a dome/fixed roof, somebody is getting ripped off...and that would be the taxpayers.

I'm intrigued as to where the knowledge, information and experience is coming from regarding these types of cynical comments. Sometimes we would do well to look in the mirror and acknowledge where we lack expertise.

While McDermott isn't (he's a good leader) throwing anybody under the bus, the only sentence that matters is, "...they've all still got work to do".

It is easy to underestimate value of a high quality, reliable returner until you don't have one. Then all hell can break loose on special teams and games can be lost. We may not find ourselves in that difficult place and I hope we don't. But, I will say that I always felt good knowing Andre Roberts was back there.

I work at the North American headquarters of a global corporation in the Boston area. Whenever no one is looking, I write "Go Bills!" in blue and red marker in the corner of meeting room white boards. My little act of defiance for our mafia insurgency.

I never lost faith in our D last year, understanding that many of our most important players (Tre, Milano and Edmunds) were out or playing injured. That being said, the thought of this D once again becoming destructive is very exciting.

Week 3: WFT at Bills

Isn't it great to be able to trust in our coach?! I'm kind of (ok, really) old and remember all the dimwits who have filled the Bills' head coaching job in the past. I am completely at peace that McDermott and staff will do their due diligence, coach up our players and have them prepared.
