He doesn't need to be productive in that offense though. He needs to be quick read and complete passes and then give the ball to CMC.
They don't ask him to win a game, they ask him to dump it off and keep the chains moving.
The only NE Patriot that threw his hands up at the right time was Gilmore after he blew his coverage. 😂
If he did, it must have been subtle. I didn't see it but I'm also watch the game over my shoulder so not really paying attention that much.
I started and OTW topic on it also. He's walking is my guess. He's not spitting the hot takes like the other hosts so he's not good for TV (in the eyes of espn). And I don't even like him because he likes the bills/Allen. He has slammed both in the past. But he's probably the only unbiased person on the whole show and has the knowledge to back it up other than "did you look at the stat sheet?"
I don't just like him because he likes the Bills/Allen. He's really the only person on ESPN who knows the game (maybe 1 or 2 others). These other guys are just finding whatever is controversial and running with it.
at this point it's more of a "lose by 1 or lose by 30" situation. They are going to have to get rid of him if they really believe the "culture" they are telling everyone day after day.
Now it's a matter of if they are cutting him and eating a ton of money or cutting him and eating some of that money.
He was convicted and the Pats still had to pay him.
I believe that's why they have the clause in most contracts related to suspensions/arrests/convictions in pretty much every contract now.
