  1. We do know who shows up for voluntary training and who doesn't. So that leads some to believe that diggs is training somewhere better than OBD, right?
  2. It's all trickle down. Tim Graham said something last week and others got wind of it. The drama was there even during last season with the media. Stephen A. turned out to probably be right in that regard that he wants to play with is brother. We will see next off season.... unless he's traded again.
  3. Fair enough, but you know what I was getting at. Players commit to one thing one day and change their minds the next day because "I'm no longer the focus". Obviously it happens more with WRs for some reason, could be they are divas or just think they are more important than the team. But once the front office knows it's more than they want to deal with, it becomes an organizational problem and not a personal problem.
  4. Yes. The average worker who has to go back to that same job everyday after snapping at someone and a youth level athlete snapping at someone is the same as a multi-millionaire that can have a fit and sit at home and still get paid those millions of dollars while forcing their way out of the contract they agreed to because they didn't like someone snapping back at them. Exact same thing.
  5. I think it's more of how it was directly at Diggs when other players were talking to him as well. I get that these these probably happen after a loss but it definitely adds to the idea that there was already issues between the two and that Diggs probably said something less than uplifting to Allen.
  6. It's worth discussing when your seen fleeing from the scene of a crime and had been operating a motor vehicle with 10 grams of weed in the vehicle. The legality of weed, I couldn't care less, the possibility of driving while intoxicated and avoiding getting caught by leaving is kind of a red flag for me.
  7. Feel like it's pretty much not going to happen with NYG. If they want to replace Jones and a QB is there that they like, they are taking him. If they don't want to replace Jones and a WR is there that they like, they are taking him. Even if you offered the farm for the pick, all that means is that they get a bunch of picks with no immediate help for the team at QB or WR and Schoen and Daboll are out of a job if they don't produce with the guys that are left. If they stay at the pick and take a QB, that give them a little flexibility for retaining their jobs. Waiting until next year would be a huge L for them.
  8. We had to spend that extra 3 million before we could sign this guy for 2/3 of what they have left. Beane working with government funding. Use it or lose it! 🤣
  9. I don't know what was said previous to that comment but I would say that is probably true. We had Diggs and that was about it for 2-3 year, Gabe was good but inconsistent. Had Brown and Sanders and Beasley (Beasley probably being the best of the 3) and Knox. Having Diggs, with Nico and Dell. Still have Wood for depth and Schultz at TE. I don't think the Bills have ever come close to that amount of talent at offensive weapons other than in 2020 and those were guys barely hanging on in the league, not rookie and 2nd year players.
  10. Pretty sure a bunch of the guys there are in their 20's so they have never known bills success until now. I know Joe Dibiase is like 27 or something like that. White, Shoop, Bulldog and Sal are the old guys left.
  11. Not really. Yes there could have been calls before and Beane probably scoffed at them but when they were sitting at 6-6 and about to change OC's, then the calls sounded a bit more reasonable is all I was getting at. I know it didn't happen overnight, it started 2 years ago when they extended him and Diggs probably felt like he was "untouchable" within the organization.
  12. I'm guessing those calls started coming in when they changed to Brady as OC.
  13. I very well could be but kind of assumed that the NFL being set in their ways used the same grading system from then. I don't know which is the latest and greatest for comparing draft picks. Never was something I have cared about.
  14. I think the value on that is a little off. Assuming this years picks (1700 for p5 and 660 for p28). And also assuming the futures are the last pick value of the round (590 and 270), that value is 1520 to 1700.
  15. They are going to go out and add players in the draft either way and were going to have to pay for them. It's 3m extra on this years cap. Not that big of a deal to be honest and it's not like they were going to go out and find someone better than anyone currently on the team for that amount of money.
  16. Because most people don't know how the cap works.
  17. Come on, you know they are going to trade up first and take a DE.
  18. just to clarify, only one of those picks is this year. The other is a 2025 pick.
  19. This years 1 and next years gets them to around 11 or 12 I believe.
  20. Well, that for sure tell you they are trading away next years 1st rounder to move up this year.
  21. So in this scenario, was he Cole Trickle or Rowdy Burns?
  22. Paying for the car, going into a "rehabilitation seminar" (2 hour sit-in seminar that amounts to nothing), taking a defensive driving course and getting suspended for 1 game is my guess as the punishment.
  23. I don't follow those teams either. I also don't follow the Ravens or Tennessee but know that they signed Henry and Ridley, respectively. Why? because they were big money signings that were reported by the media. This signing is a depth signing and doesn't move the needle one bit for me and apparently drops it lower for you but it does fill a position of need. In terms of cost, it wasn't even newsworthy. If you think that proving you wrong was my intention just to say I" told you so" then you completely missed the point. I'm not riled, I'm not trying to prove you wrong. I just have no history to go on with why you think he is a bad signing but for some reason, to you, it's a bad signing and the only thing I have to go on from what you have said in this thread is his age. Would it have been better to sign a younger player that produced less than him? Like you said, I'm on a Bills message board for hours a day. I'm fine with arguing/conversing if you want but I'm just trying to figure out why you dislike it.
