  1. I'm not loking for the fast fix.. I want to see this franchis great for years to come.. Thats why I say an OT in the first and a potential QB in the second. And sorry folks, this is not a great year for QB's in the draft.....So, get that dominant lineman at #9. After that get a guy who can potentiallly be great.....In my mind that potential in the second belonggs to Tebow.
  2. Here's my take and crucify it if you will. At #9 LT. Whoever is left, then take him. 2nd round-QB- whether Clausen or Tebow. Because one of them will be there...... Sorry, after Bradford this years crop of QB' is mighty thin. Tebow is intriguing. Got to admit. Clausen, Sorry, give me a pickle. So, between the two, I'll take Tebow....With a second rounder... Lots to gain, not much to lose....
  3. Sure has changed since Shula was on the competition comittee, first with Csonka, then with Marino as the QB. Now its Polian with Manning. Bring back football.
  4. Only thing I know is that the last game of this season I'll be sitting in the stands knowing that I have something to cheer for. Whether it be a playoff spot this year or maybe the next. One thing I'll Know is that we're way better prepared for being in a playoff run then when we were 5-0 two years ago. So, be what it may. I believe we're heading in the right direction
  5. Chan had something...You can have talent and no heart it doesn't mean anything..You can have heart and no talent and you can overcome many things. But if you have heart and talent then you can be anything...So here's to the Bills in 010 and beyond... I'm beginning to believe.
  6. I live in NE, and had to ask a coworker who the heck is he. He's a huge (supposedly) NE fan and didn't know who I was talking about. In spite of that, bring him in, doesn't cost much and he does have speed. Might return kicks which could free up McKelvin to perhaps perform where he's supposed to. Anyways, not a bad pickup......In fact, there's not been one pickup that I'm opposed to. FO seems to be trying to upgrade where they need to.
  7. No QB. Repeat No QB could have been successful behind what we put in front of him last year. Not just the bad blocking and missed assignments but being outphysicaled (if thats a word) and then the false starts etc. on top of it. Realistacally we were damned fortunate to finish where we did. And kudos to the guys who were left standing at the end of the year. This year is already better than last, IMO, without a down being played.
  8. I'm already pleased. We seem to have more of a focus than we've had in years. And let's face it. The last couple of years have just plain sucked. I'm glad I renewed my seasons already. We're really going to surprise some people this year. Of course I've been saying that since 1965. So I'm an eternal optomist. I still like what I'm seeing this year as opposed to the last.....say decade or so
  9. Give Trent or Brohm a little time and the offense is Way diffeent, The Oline sucks. Would have given any hall of famer fits. Upgrade the Oline and you'll have a QB that can keep you in games. And then you can develop or get you one that will win games...In other words, build the lines first.
  10. Okay folks, I skipped through 7 pages to write this. Jason Peters is gone. He's an Eagle. No matter how good or how bad he is is past tense. All we can do now is look at going forward. I like that we addressed some needs last year and I "trust" that we will continue to do so this year. We have to address the Oline and Dine first and formost in this draft. If you have strong lines then the rest wil follow. Chans offense will be run first. And his defense will be predicated on stopping the run. Its football folks. The lines are where it starts.....
  11. Thank you bb-gun---exactly what I was thinking. Only bring in another big fat guy to help him out. I've always thought that I'd rather have two guys like Williams on my team than none. He plays with everything he's got. And you've got to respect that.
  12. Thank you..... Bring him back cheaply...If at all..... He doesn't seem to be attracting too much attention besides his realitu=y show.
  13. I live in the NE area and the local sports radio stuff is saying he won't be back next year. Locally they're very high on Josh Reed. They think NE's holes are pass rusher, linebacker, and wide receiver. Someone needs to take pressure off of Moss. Just reporting local stuff, so don't crucify me.
  14. Not saying he wasn't a good citizen... I was at the games ... I watched him take plays off.... I saw him drop WAY too many balls. Sorry...I like TO...He's fun... That being said, I'd like to see him drop balls for some other team.Lets develop our own stars. I'll bring my popcorn without TO...
  15. Last year our D wore down. Its not that they were so bad as much as the offense was just plain pitiful. This year the draft and FAgency should be towards building good to dominant lines on both sides of the ball. Control the ball, wear other people down and give yourselves a chance in the 4th quarter. Sorry. Football is football. Bigger, stronger and faster will almost always win
  16. Did you watch the same games that I did? TO dropped almost as many passes as that he caught. Although his personality is fun, I'd rather see someone else try harder and catch more balls that were thrown his way,
  17. Mine are already bought and paid for. Now waiting to upgrade. Great day at the stadium for a very reasonable price. Always have a lot of fun. Except for last years NE game. Ticket holders in my section sold their seats to NE fans. More fights than I cared to be around during that fiasco. I've sat through some real stinkers but I'm an optimistic sort.
