Come on now, how can you judge a player by what college he went to. Poz won't be an "elite" linebacker. But he'll be a Shane Conlan type who's very good. Who knows about Maybin. He's yet to play a down. And he's what...20 years old? Lots of time to get heavier and stronger. If we judge by what college they went to there would never be a great player from Kutztown State

Classic post. I'm so sick of the New England and Brady BS. And I live in NE. Even the local sports radio program here said after their first super bowl that 25 % of the calls were about the Red Sox. And it was winter. Used to drive around and never see a Pats sticker on a car. Now you see a lot of them. More Red Sox stuff though. Pity they have a good team and they're really not a football area.

Really, As bad as our offense has been....since week 6 of last year. Could AVP be any worse? It's almost addition by subtraction. I drove in 10 hours to 2 games last year. One was SD. Great fun, even with the power outage, Second was SF. The worst called game I've ever seen. How do you not even try to run the ball on first and goal on the three when you have Marshawn in the backfield? And this preseason was a joke. I don't hold much in preseason games, but to me it's obvious that Turk had no support. He lost the offense. And if Dick had any chance of not losing the team he had to make a choice. And he did it. Now, we have to wait for a while to see if it works. Hopefully it works sooner rather than later.

Red----Got to admit I never thought of Holmgren. That being said I would Still want Marty as my first choice. First...we won't get Cowher because Dallas or some other big market team will pay him twice what Ralph will. And I understand that. Second, Shanahan would try to rebuild this team to be the trapping, pulling team that the Broncos were. And he really hasn't been the same coach without Elway. And truthfully how many Elways are there? Even in the twilight of his career. Marty builds consistent winners wherever he goes. Has he won the big one? No. But you've got to get to the playoffs before you can even think of winning the super bowl. Marty's teams almost always get to the playoffs. He consistently builds winners wherever he goes. I would love to be a contender for the playoffs year after year. But Holgren is an intrigueing pick. Better than friggin Chucky
