  1. Guys, the plays are drawn up correctly. The scheme is right. It doesn't matter if we huddle or not. TRENT is not getting them the ball. When he looks down field everyone looks covered in his mind. It's something instinctual that he lacks. You can't teach it. He just doesn't have that in him. Great (or even good) QB's anticipate where and when to throw. Unfortunately, he is not one of them.
  2. Some of you have it right and some of you have it wrong: We WILL lose to the Fins. Jauron will still have his job the next day. Trent will say "I need to go look at the film". We will all still be frustrated monday morning. What else is new?
  3. I've always defended Trent myself, but now I know he is not the guy. The dude threw a two yard dump off on 4th and 28 when the game was winding down. Isn't that QB 101 to NOT do that?
  4. We are real good at playing quality football, but not real good at doing it for 60 minutes (unless we play a bad team). Don't worry.
  5. If you are trying to figure out what our organization is thinking, you need to get measured for a straight jacket!!!
  6. Hate to bust everyone's bubble, but here's a list of coaches who will not be on the Bills sidelines in 2010: Bill Cowher Mike Holmgren Mike Shanahan John Gruden Brian Billick All SB winning coaches -- All too expensive for Ralph.
  7. If I actually lived at Two Bills Drive I wouldn't go see them play. That woulld be too far. My couch is a good enough place to watch them score no touchdowns. Welcome though.
  8. Wait a minute. Aren't Kelsay and Denney the same guy?
  9. Well said. He basically has the same philosophy on defense. "Don't give up any big plays." Meanwhile, we are getting 7 yarded to death.
  10. I guess for my second take, i'll look for a spell check. Rookie mistake.
  11. Hey all, I'm new to this forum. I'll give my first take. A lot of people are hoping for a lot of changes in the organization (me included). Let's not expect too much. I know we all want Ralph to be as passionate as we are, but he just isn't. He is a businessman. Let's say hypothetically each year when all is said and done, he makes about $5 Million profit. Why would he go out and hire Bill Cower or someone along those lines who make that much per year? Yeah, that would make us happy, but Ralph is not in business to make us happy. Our orgnization will not succeed while he calls the shots. It's unfortunate but true. We all know a passionate owner and a "football" G.M. is what wins in this league. All teams have talent. Some know how to use it properly (N.E, Miami, Phili, ...) and some don't (Buff, Cinci, Det...). The players are not the problem. We've been changing players year in and year out for 10 years and none of them work out. Do we see a pattern here?
  12. My game plan for New England -- Start game planning for Tampa.
  13. What a job Ralph Wilson has. He owns a team in a city that will support him no matter what they look like. We go 10 years without playoffs and pretty much look worse each year, and we sell record numbers in season ticket sales. All they need to do is pick up a guy like T.O. or throw in a no huddle and the whole city buzzes. Heck, if we get two first downs in a row, we are talking Super Bowl! We are an orgniztion in CHAOS but are so blinded by all the "moves" they make, we can't see how really BAD we are. This is not about pre season, it is about the last 10 years. We are going backwards quickly.
  14. Hey guys, You don't need to look at the pre season -- look at the last 10 years. How many coaches, coordinators, QB's, RB's, O-lines, D-lines ... did we go through. You don't build a team by changing players year in and year out. You need a committed owner and a competant GM who hires a head coach who knows what it takes to win. Guys, we are 0 for 3 in that department. Everyone keeps pointing out which players are good and which ones are not. Does Miami have more talent than we do? Not even close. Did they make the playoffs last year? Good organizations win. Look at the three we have running the show (Ralph, Brandon and Juron). It could be the worst in sports. Until that changes, get used to the way we play - disorganized at best.
