Yeah I'm starting to come around to AJE now. that DL should be very good. Keep L. Joseph and D. Jones and AJE.
-
that's a fair point. I'd say Floyd and Oliver who are likely having the best years of their career. Also L. Joseph (who I'd like back). it's a fantastic question. All in, or extend the DL window. I guess it depends on who comes back in addition to AJE. Assuming that AJE costs less, if we can also get Greg for 5-7 years, and L. Joseph on the inside along with D. Jones, I'd lean to AJE. If those parts are out, then I have to go more toward Floyd because we will be needing more top-line talent. But perhaps AJE becomes a top guy. Stop making my head hurt.
-
so you are thinking that realistically we are out on Floyd? I could see that. I'm also good with a moderate contract of 3-4 for AJE, great complementary role player and you need those, but not a game changer himself.
-
the Age is an issue. he is 31. AJE is 25. Wish we could keep both. I'm not sold that AJE is a guy that can do it on his own without a dominant line (perhaps he could, who knows!?). I'd almost rather do Floyd on a decent K, or let them both walk and use the savings for safety and draft DL LATER in the draft (or FA). Perhaps another Floyd out there next year.
-
McD being gone!!! But I think personnel wise we have to part with Morse, we no longer (hopefully) need a vet center for JA. Humphrey is doing well in KC. Let's get the best one in the draft (likely in 2nd round). WR, C, OL/WR, etc.
-
I have to imagine Von would be able to land a top analysist gig if he retires. But I'm thinking he comes back. He clearly wants to prove that he can beat this and be dominant again. Can't really blame him for that.
-
for a 7th, or nothing (if you can). That gets Pegs out of the contract, right?
-
He also said he was done coaching. Perhaps he will be a good analyst? Although him coaching the team if we won a SB would be unreal.
-
only thing I would change is that a TD wins it instantly. I'd like to see the other team still get the ball. Winning the coin toss would then perhaps give you the ball back with some time left, or not. Big decisions.

McD on late game decisions - "Hindsight is always 20/20"
RyanC883 replied to HomeskillitMoorman's topic in The Stadium Wall
"The Bills had an opportunity to get into range for a game-winning field goal in regulation, but McDermott said he worried about Allen taking a sack, and didn’t know if 20 seconds would be enough time." WOW. HIS EXCUSE does not even make sense. He was worried about Allen taking a sack? I get blaming the weather, inteception, pick 6 as an excuse (don't agree with it), but a sack? What is the negative of that. Nothing. McWorried should be sacked. -

he has to do something if we don't at LEAST make the AFC Championship game, and play well with good coaching. Otherwise, we have still backslid and are wasting Allen. -
only thing left is to demand that McD go.

From a former McDermott Supporter: It is OVAH

And then they went to a SB and are in a top spot right now. We are just spinning our wheels with a serial chocker. -
be interesting to see what Josh says. Looked like he was arguing for a horse-collar.
-
Minny and Pit both doing well without a “franchise” QB. Although I blame the D picks/ reaches on McD. This year’s draft looks good so far.
-
Hopefully Brady works out. If not Slowik, Johnson, Kellen Moore.
-
McD put them in a great spot to win by quitting in regulation with 20 seconds left. Or leaving 12 men on the field. opt keeping Dorsey too long. And his failures are more than this season.
-
or our HC, Dick Jauron, I mean McMedicore

I'm even okay with Poyer this year, but the play time Miller has been given is insane. Perhaps he makes a comeback, but why are we letting him rehab during games!!

You're likely right. But I'd like to see if Brady as HC/OC and Babbich as DC could do something. Better than this current mediocre (if even that) mess of a HC and his terrible in game decisions. -
McD IS THE MAIN PROBLEM.

if Pegs does not fire McD over the bye week, he is gutless also. McMedicore. -
How much more of McD and his disastrous weak losses do we need to see. Let's recap: --13 seconds--but blame the ST coach. --meltdown against AZ --12 men --defensive meltdown against Giants --failing to get past divisional round after making the AFCCG AND THEN, JUST TODAY WITH THE SEASON ON THE LINE: -- kneeling the ball with 20 seconds and 1 timeout. You have Allen, Diggs, Kincaid, Davis (when he runs the right route) and Shakir. Try to FG range. --speaking of the 1 TO, it should have been two, but McD thinks icing the kicker (who was somewhat rushed) works. --another defensive meltdown. In fact, numerous in the 2nd half, leading to the OT meltdown. But Pegs will do nothing. Have fun selling tickets and merchandise Mr. Mediocracy. New name for McD. McMediocracy.

McD should be instantly fired

coverage is soft like McD.
