  1. If this happens, I'd be ecstatic. But I don't see either Smith or Vea falling that far, I hope I'm wrong.
  2. McCarron would be a great pick-up for the Bills, if there is a chance, get him. He would be a better option than any of the round one QBs in the draft.
  3. Several draft gurus have the BIlls focusing on Defense with those first two picks. Assuming they address the QB need through Free Agency, I like taking a top DT and LB in the first round (no corner though). It makes a strong unit stronger, and as the Jags have reminded us, a strong D can take you places in the NFL.
  4. Yes, to replace his right arm!
  5. It clearly means the Bills are much better than the Steelers. Nothing else to say.
  6. The "interference" on the Pats is not possible, no NFL ref would ever call them for that.
  7. Yes, there is a need to amputate and completely replace his right arm. They're looking for a donor.
  8. It seems like every team in the NFL would like to upgrade their offensive line. And the problem of depth is universal. Having said that, I agree with the premise of this thread: this is a solid line and considering all the needs this team has, investing in the o-line should not be a high priority. Yes, if you can get an affordable stud FA or find a gem int he draft to improve along that line, do it. But big spending or high draft choices should not be an off-season priority, The people we have are solid, they need to stay healthy and a better scheme (coaching) that fits them--like in the two years previous to this season.
  9. He’ll fit right in, his QB at Alabama could not throw either.
  10. If this is true, I'm happy. What has McCoy done to think he was a savior? Look at the results in Denver this year. Time to get a fresh and innovative person.
  11. Yahoo! About 3 months too late. But good news, indeed.
  12. Interesting, I watch their Bowl game with an eye on him, and he did not get close the McSorley (PSU QB) in that game. That being said, I would be happy with either.
  13. Why are there three threads on Pat Mahome???? Did he get traded to the Bills? If not, why are there any threads on him? STOP !!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Priority #1 = Get rid of Dennison Priority #2 = Sign a decent and affordable transition QB: McCarron, Bridgewater, McCown, Daniels (or trade for Smith if the price is reasonable) Priority #3 = Draft a QB that you believe is the future (do a big trade up or stand pat and hope your guy falls to you--if we do #2, I'm good with either of these draft options) Totally out of left field option: Trade one of your later picks (3+) for this guy = Tayson Hill - Sean Payton loves him (we know how McD loves QB's that can play Special Teams, and if he doesn't work as a QB, at least you have a strong ST contributor)
  15. Not necessary, classless.
  16. If Jones were still here, He'd have a legitimate chance to start in 2018. Not saying he'd be good, but he would probably have the inside track.
  17. Let's be realistic, the chance of Cousins coming to Buffalo are slim to none. So, who on the list would be attainable and have a big upside? I see two: AJ McCarron and Teddy Bridgewater. Both have shone very good NFL promise. I believe either would be upgrades and potential franchise building QB's--both would be a safer risk than anyone we could draft. Moreover, getting one of them would allow us to keep all the draft picks and build the many other needs this team has.
  18. He had his flaws--or was it the players that had their flaws--but I would certainly say he knew his personnel and developed the right system for the people he had. Dennison, not so much. He tried. It was good to see the rollouts yesterday, but every one of them was the same: Tyrod rolls right, and there is a short option and a deep option--not hard to defend those Rico. Call it age discrimination if you must, but the game has passed him by.
  19. Cousins would be a big help, but I think there are about 10 other teams who want him as well.
  20. yuuup, I hate vomiting
  21. His running was the difference in the game. But like many have said, can't cover everything and we certainly can't put this loss on the Defense.
  22. Absolutely!!!! Please!! Do it on the way home! And then go go get your QB. Absolutely!!!! Please!! Do it on the way home! And then go go get your QB.
  23. Or, we can all just be miserable, I guess that helps some how.
