I Think I am most concerned about Torrance.
Left Side for the Fish has Calais Campbell and Jaelen Phillips.
Torrance graded out as the worst guard in the league vs. Arizona.
Do they Run a lot of 12 and/or use a 6th lineman like they did vs. Arizona.
Cards OT's are Questionable, I would expect Groot, & AJE/Von to be in the backfield all day. With Ed & Daquan pushing the pocket; will the Cards be able to run; and will Kyler make mistakes under relentless pressure.
David Edwards graded out very well last year in limited action, Hoping McGovern + Edwards > Morse + McGovern. Torrence led the team in snaps as a rookie, and one would expect him to improve in year 2.
Considering Kincaid is just about as fast [4.71] as Coleman [4.63], I suspect he is the 6th WR when we need one. With Gilliam, we really carry 4 TE's. That being said, Andy Reid carries 7 WR's and 4 TE's on the 53.
NY Times/The Athletic this morning has and article on BB. It mentions Dallas, Bills, and Philly as three playoff-ready teams where ownership may be impatient to "win now". Hmmm. Thoughts?
Most of those rushing TD's were QB sneaks at the goal line. Billy Shaw is in the HOF in part for how he blocked on those sneaks. If I remember Cookie used to help with a nudge or two in the pile.
Vontae Davis - Quitting at Halftime of a game
Walt Patulski - #1 overall pick, amounted to NOTHING. [Franco Harris was in that draft].
Reggie Bush - Heisman Trophy winner who had negative yards for a season.
Wrecks Ryan - Toe sucking? Team sucking?
I am old, old enough to be at the 1963 game [in a downpour] where Cookie ran for 243 yards on basically an unplayable field.
He was big, listed at 6-3 251. [Billy Shaw - HOF OG was 6-2 258] probably bigger than Derrick Henry. He also was an outstanding pass blocker, he would pancake DT's, Madden said he might have been the best blocking RB ever He averaged 25-30 catches per season, and was not someone a db wanted to face in space. Remember he only played 4 full seasons in the AFL, because of Paul Brown's illegally signing him when he was 18 - he bounced around between rugby and the CFL for 8 years before the Bills signed him. He also played MLB in Canada.
