  1. 14 and a pair of 12's. Yeah they are young and far from experts but have been going to camp for years. They tend to focus on QBs and noticed Fitz's bad delivery before most. Take it for what its worth Oh and they like the Bills QB situation this year for the first time in their lives
  2. My kids called today as a draw, but they said it is obvious to them that Manuel is the more talented overall of the two.
  3. Funniest thing I've heard so far was from a 8ish year old girl at her first practice ... "geez Dad, number 99 needs to lay off the doughnuts"
  4. I agree about the QB situation and also didn't see the kickers at all.
  5. I can do that. Hey Russ, hook me up man.
  6. I've never had any level of privilege there my knowledge is limited
  7. Corporate tent I believe. I don't believe the people inside need to even be seasons holders.
  8. i have a couple as well but they will be getting their rookie cards signed
  9. Rent a kid (14 or under) and bring him/her tomorrow (Tuesday) to get EJ's autograph. http://www.buffalobills.com/team/training-camp/autograph-zone.html It it generally up to the players. Sometimes they are forced to go to the rich peoples area however. Fitz always spent time at the fence.
  10. Skipping training camp now as well. Sent my kids on a scouting mission last night to see if they could find him lurking anywhere, but if he was there he was hiding very well. I hope this comes to some resolution sooner rather than later so he can get some time in camp.
  11. It's always been disgusting. You were probably just there at 3am before and in an altered state of consciousness i made the mistake of going there sober once and had the same reaction as you As to ending early, it was about 40 minutes early. Like you i don't think I've ever seen that before. I thought at first it was because they had a morning practice today, but it's not until this afternoon. My kids got a lot of scrubs autographs as well. Starters went right back in. Always at least half went to the fence for at least a little while in previous years. Maybe its a personality thing, a lot of the guys like Fitz that used to go to the fence often are no longer on the team.
  12. Wondering a little why they ended practice so early. I'm not sure I've ever seen that before.
  13. He probably wasn't even there
  14. In my opinion EJ looked pretty good, with the occasional Fitz flashback of "who the heck was he throwing that too?" Kolb I thought looked a bit more consistent overall in my opinion. Tuel shouldn't get too comfortable in a Bills uniform from what I saw tonight.
  15. In general all the WRs seemed to catch most that were thrown on target.
  16. We got lucky and have friends that live across the street from SJF so we use their driveway in exchange for picking up their tickets But in the past we have found the Sutherland lot to be the best. Smaller lines to get the bus to SJF. Unfortunately getting the bus after practice takes a while no matter what lot you are going to. If you don't let me know because I have extras for that night as well.
  17. I have been informed by my kids that we are getting there early so they can secure a good spot by the fence. So no sticky lips for me
  18. It is raining here now so maybe it got here early. You never know around here so I'd bring something in case it does. Both fields are turf plus except for RBs and WRs sprinting and cutting no one really goes too hard during these practices (at least in previous years). A lot of the time is spent on half speed walk throughs and drills.
  19. I don't have any left for tomorrow, but I still have some for the 2nd night practice (Monday Aug 5) if anyone needs some. Downtown or henrietta?
  20. Unfortunately for the past 13 years all it has been is addition by subtraction. Would be nice to see some addition by addition.
  21. It's supposed to rain all evening tomorrow. Crappy way to start camp, but should keep the crowd down.
  22. What's the point, with the team moving and all
  23. Yeah, sorta like when he said firing Chan Gailey was his biggest mistake. But plenty here touted that as gospel for (3) years. I may be in the minority, but I don't think the stadium lease has much impact on the Bills staying or leaving the area. Whatever group buys the team is going to look at the long, not short, term financial picture. If they need to pony up a big pile of cash to move the team, they will if it makes long term sense. They will be spending 800 million-ish dollars to buy the team, adding some more initial cost won't matter that much. People that deal in those kinds of investments do not look short term. If it makes long term sense to stay in WNY they will, otherwise they will go. Stressing about something you have no control over makes the least sense of all. We will know when we know.
  24. 6-10 is more likely than 10-6 in my opinion this season. Just too much new. The season after is when we will see if they made good decisions this past off season.
  25. If he did, it is doubtful this thread would have gone beyond 1 page. Kevin Costner in Bull Durham ... "If you win 20 in the show, you can let the fungus grow back and the press'll think you're colorful. Until you win 20 in the show, however, it means you are a slob." Translation, winners can get away with much more than losers.
