  1. Lynch is literally openly smoking a blunt during half of his interview with Sharpe, I'm guessing it was filmed in his house. He seems quite blazed throughout & gets incoherent at times, I gave up. He didn't talk about Buffalo in the parts I saw, but he did say some other things that seemed far-fetched. He probably wasn't in the frame of mind to accurately recall anything.

There are clips of the interview on YouTube. I had a hard time following along & gave up watching.

  2. Renfrow is interesting. He'd be a perfect addition, but $13M this year & again next year isn't going to work.

He had 103 catches in 2021, along with 1000+ yards & 9 TDs. After the season, the Raiders sign him to a $32M 2-year deal. Then he had 36 catches last season, and only 6 this year. He's played only 42% of snaps this year, and only 7 snaps in the Raiders win over the Pats yesterday. I'm sure they'd love to trade him, but that contract is crazy.

  3. The dude is like 5'8" 310lbs, he isn't a 1T. If we force him into that role, we'll see more of those long runs like the Barkley Trap plays. He's a backup-level rotational DT. I'd be on board with exploring the trade market for a true 1T.

I have thought about this one a LOT this week. Mind drifted to several guys before making the decision. And it's one I feel strongly about today.

    Kaiir Elam.

This week Elam won't be in his first game action of the year. No jet lag. And he won't be asked to cover Calvin Ridley or Christian Kirk. The Giants don't have a boundary WR of that talent. Add in that with a depleted OL and backup Tyrod Taylor.... pressure may force the opportunity for a huge rebound game and some MUCH needed confidence for the hotly debated former 1st rounder.

I came to say Elam also. I think we'll see an INT & a big play. I think he's due, and the matchup can't get much easier.

Don't like this from Allen tbh

Should have just said no comment or no big deal

If Josh had said "no comment", that would lead to more speculation that he & Diggs were at odds, it would be front page news on ESPN (just below the daily Taylor Swift article). Saying what Diggs was really mad about makes it a non-issue & hopefully leads to less BS questions about their relationship in the future.

The bottom line is the Buffalo Bills offense has to be better and carry this football team with all the injuries on defense. I blame that Jacksonville Jaguars loss on Josh Allen. Josh Allen makes $53 million dollars a season this season he needs to carry this football team for that kind of money. Being very good doesn’t cut it when you are paid to be great. Josh Allen when he was on a first contract you can over look things like the New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars game. But because of the huge salary commitment to Josh Allen is why the Buffalo Bills don’t have a lot of salary cap options to replace injured defensive players. So Josh Allen needs to play a lot better than he has because the Bills don’t have the cap space to acquire replacements in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Allen was not the problem in the Jags game, he was actually great for the vast majority of the game. You can't blame Josh for the early drive-killing drops on good passes, or the asinine run plays that kept putting us in 3rd & long. The Jets game though, yeah that's on him.

  7. I'm around Bears fans all the time. I told everyone who was excited about the signing that they'd hate Edmunds within a few games. They resisted for a few weeks because he had some good tackle numbers, but it seems now he's almost universally hated by the fans.

The thing that Bears fans are mostly mad about, is that they could've kept Roquan Smith for roughly the same money they paid Edmunds. They want the GM's head.

  8. I don't think Claypool was a malcontent in Pittsburgh, he had a great rookie year for them (873yds, 11 TDs). The Steelers traded him away because rookie George Pickens was surpassing him in the pecking order. If somebody offers you a draft pick in the 30s for a guy who's 3rd on your depth chart at his position, you take it & run- regardless of his attitude.

His attitude issues were all with the Bears. The guy is clearly a jackass now, but I don't think he came into the league as one.

My view was that he was mostly average which is not a great return for a player you traded up for in Round 1.

Out of his entire career I can only think of a few main highlights:

    - The huge hit on Lamar Jackson that knocked him out of the Division playoff game.

    - Knocking away a deep pass from Mike Gesicki over the middle in the wildcard game against Miami.

    - Absolutely crushing a running back causing an incomplete pass in the same game above.

    Am I forgetting any others?

I was just thinking about his hit in the Miami game & trying to remember any other times he really made a hit. The only one I could think of was when he knocked Dane Jackson out cold.

Yep, Edmunds' hardest hit as a Bill was on a teammate.

  10. In the infamous 9-6 loss to the Jags in 2021, we had also just beat Miami the previous week, and were flying high at 6-2. The Jags were 1-6 at the time. Our Josh threw 2 picks & lost fumble on a sack by their Josh. Crazy things happen to us.

After typing this out, I'm actually finding myself more nervous about this game than the Miami game.

Who cares...coming off an Achilles injury he will be a shell of his former self for a while...every dropback will cause him to have to plant on that leg.

Fixed that for you: Who cares...coming off an Achilles injury he will be a shell of his former self for the rest of his life...every dropback will cause him to have to plant on that leg.

Nobody is ever the same athletically after an achilles tear. There have been a couple players who've still been decent like Crabtree, but never what they were before. It's a death sentence for 90+% of players. A 40yr old QB? Toast. Look back at Marino post-achilles, that'll be Rodgers if he even decides to play again.

Spencer Brown did not have a “great” game if that is what you are implying.  He was given tons of help and was still beaten pretty regularly by Crosby…the Bills simply had a good plan and Allen got the ball out quickly.

Brown's best career game IMO is when we played Washington 2 years ago. He was 1-on-1 with Young much of the game. Young did an outside speed rush on just about every pass play, rarely a counter move or anything else. Brown just get kept riding him out of the play and neutralized him. I hope Young does the same thing today.

  13. I live in the Chicago area. I've been telling friends who were happy about signing Edmunds to talk to me a few weeks into the season, once they understand.

He did have 16 tackles this week. I didn't watch the game so I can only guess that most were after a significant gain, who knows...
