Beane needs to find the next Poyer/Hyde, an underutilized or mis-cast CB from another team who fits our Safety mold & won't cost too much.

Deion Sanders in both Dallas & San Fran is the most obvious example. He was a true mercenary for a few years.

Anybody else get Moulds vibes when watching Legette?

We FINALLY have a decent O-Line, no glaring holes, and all 5 starters coming back. No way I'd create another hole.
Do you guys not remember having Saffold?

The pick is not per the individual player lost to FA, it's a composite of all the new contracts of all the FA you lost vs all the FA you signed.
The Bills have hosed themselves out of comp picks a few times by signing marginal FAs when they could've netted a 4th or 5th.

He's going to sign a modest 3 year deal with Atlanta, with a bunch of incentives & an out after 2 years. They'll tell him he's their guy, then they'll draft a QB in the 1st round anyway. Russ will be replaced after their bye week.

They definitely have fans at the Combine. A friend of my sons was in Indy this weekend for a 7-on-7 tournament, his team got tickets & went for a few hours on Saturday, got to see Worthy's 40 live.

Thomas, Franklin, Legette, & McConkey- in that order.

Worthy was literally smaller than the woman who interviewed him right after his record time.
You guys are crazy wanting him at #28. I fear he's going to be the next Darrius Heward-Bey, Troy Williamson, John Ross, etc- who can fly but not play WR at the NFL level.

Coleman with literally the slowest time of all the WRs & looked stiff as all hell. I can't see any way he can get separation at the NFL level. No way he gets drafted before round 3.
-
Mitchell & Legette may not even make it to #28 now...

Johnny Wilson looks like the next Kelvin Benjamin.

No team will trade for Zach Wilson. Even if somebody was thinking he'd be worth a 7th round pick, the entire world knows he's going to be cut.

I'd be on-board with all except Dobbins.
I don't think most people understand just how catastrophic an achilles tear is for an NFL skill player. There is almost a 0% chance that Dobbins will ever be an effective player again. There has never been an NFL RB who has been anywhere near their previous level after that injury, almost all are out of the league within a year of their attempted return- see below. This is a 2 year old list, but you can add Cam Akers to it as well.

I tried to watch it when it first came out, I had to tap out a few minutes in. I just couldn't do it, the part that hit me was in the beginning when Bruce said "everytime I watch it, I still think it's gonna go through".
I want to try it again now, my sons are teens & only know what I've told them & what they've seen in clips, I guess it's time.

When you're cash-strapped, paying a gadget player in Taysom Hill $40MM is probably not the best way to get out of financial trouble.

This mean Boyd is a goner. Cincy likely will be drafting a new slot WR, but that leaves another outside WR on the board for us.

Mel's board is great for us. The 2 best fits for us (without trading up) are not even on his board- Franklin & Legette.
The fact that all the WR draft rankings are all over the place after the top-3, really speaks to the volume & depth of this draft class. This could be the best WR draft ever.

Top-5 Defensive players often sign 1yr cheap prove-it deals with rivals, so why not?

Hester belongs nowhere near the HOF unless he buys a ticket.
I also couldn't believe McMichael made it. I'm in the Chicago area & saw his whole career. I loved the guy as a player, but I never would've said he's a HOFer. I'd argue that Kyle Williams was a better DT, & he won't get a sniff from the voters.
This is like when Harold Baines made the baseball HOF, it opens the door for a bunch of "pretty good" HOFers in the coming years.

Tuel Time maybe?
Peterman's 3 TD to 12 INT ratio for the Bills has to win it, but I'd vote Tuel for next worst.

We lived in Hampton at that time. My wife taught at rival Bethel High (Allen Iverson alma mater). Watched Ronald play football. Still can’t believe he didn’t become a superstar. Was absolutely incredible. I think he scored 8 tds in a game I watched. Was a man amongst boys at a pretty good level of competition.
Curry's senior season in HS, he had 59 TD passes, 16 rushing TDs, and added a return TD. That's 76 TDs in 14 games.

Any analysis on Ricky Pearsall? I'd much rather have him than Worthy.
