This. I read the transcript and when I finished I thought I missed something. It read as a pretty ordinary conversation. Boston is and always will be a baseball town. It’s Red Sox and then pockets of fans for the celts and Bruins. The Pats were an afterthought for their entire existence. It’s not even debatable. It’s fashionable now and will be out of fashion once they suck. Most fans are not going out to Foxboro and paying those prices to watch a team they really don’t care about.

This is probably the best Bills team in a long time, IMHO. Not that it’s really saying much, considering the last 20 years. But still... ...Quick rundown of my areas I think this team is best or close to compared to other Bills teams in the last 20 years: Best Coach Best GM Best QB (realize not a high bar here - Bledsoe’s brief run maybe second? Fitz?) Comparable Defense to the best. Offense probably not quite there yet but improving.

It’s just that there’s extremes on both sides, so it always seems like no matter what “fans” are extreme. In reality, “fans” are actually a bunch of individuals not a monolith, and the people who are extreme are likely in the minority.

Any team can lose on any weekend. That’s life in the NFL. I’ll always be a little nervous about each game, maybe until the Bills look like the 90s bills or when they play the dolphins.
