  1. that’s weird. Too weird!
  2. Once again, you miss the point. do you think that it makes sense that, "National Public (read: government) Radio" - established by the federal government and funded in some part by federal tax dollars, would not air the President's National Addresses during what is clearly a national crisis?
  3. Honestly, my biggest concern with this whole thing isn't the virus or even the economic devastation (although both are concerning). The concern that supersedes all (IMO) is the permanent damage that this will do to the psyche and attitudes of the American people. The socialists continue to push an agenda and false choice of perceived safety for more control, less transparency, and ultimately more power for them. At some point, and we may already be there, we will pass the tipping point where enough citizens have been raised on government schools, get their information from government media, and get life's necessities from government homes, government food, government retirement, government transportation, and the list goes on. Once we pass that tipping point, its game over for American liberties and freedom.
  4. This woman is such an embarrassment. I'll give her credit for one thing though, it takes a lot of sac to continually demonstrate to the entire world how much of a moron one is.
  5. honest question: why do you post every singular story of individuals effected by the coronavirus? It’s not really helpful or informative. Everyone is aware of what this disease can do and everyone thinks it’s sad and tragic to those it impacts. this isn’t Facebook and I don’t think these posts are particularly informative or helpful. And I apologize if I’m this is harsh, I don’t mean to be.
  6. you can’t just listen! That’s the point! First you have to choose which experts to trust, contrary to what you are hearing from the DNC there’s a lot of varied opinions on the severity and duration of this. There’s differing opinions on potential therapeutics. Then there’s also competing priorities such as economic detestation and severe depression/isolation, the threat of public back lash, states responsibilities vs federal ones. There experts in each of those fields as well. Once you “listen” to them, that’s all president Slim does? Presidents have to make decisions and act, they can’t just pick someone, say he or she is an expert in one thing and then do nothing.
  7. I watched that whole 10 minute interview on MSDNC and it’s incredibly bad. Biden Is definitely in a diminished mental capacity. There is no way he makes it 4 years. He might not make it another year.
  8. Who is Don Lover? What are you talking about? So basically your approach would be to listen to the experts? You do realize that any chief executive has to weight multiple viewpoints and considerations and then is ultimately responsible for making a decision. So again, very very simple question: What is one thing that you would do that is currently not being done by this president. One thing. That's it.
  9. In other words, when hypothetically put into the shoes of the President you have absolutely no idea of what you would do differently, got it.
  10. I have been saying this for over a week now. The reaction to this by the media, which drive much of the perceived discussion, is just straight up bizarre. Any mention of an overreaction is met with swift ridicule and dismissal. It's not irresponsible to take a risk management approach to this, trying to assess the costs of total shut down versus some form of continued activity. It's also not a binary, where we have to either completely shut down or take absolutely zero precautions. I think taking a week or so to figure out where we are at was/is a smart move, but to the OP's point, we need to also start discussing if/how we move to the next phase of dealing with this, which includes some form of returning to activity.
  11. what would you do differently? see, part of the problem with people like you and trans, and the media is that all you do is use vague statements and platitudes to emote your feelings and then criticize endlessly, yet you don’t offer a single critical thought or solution.
  12. It’s very disappointing to see posters like transbillsfan continue to be so myopic in their thinking. it’s always good to be critical of politicians and the media, but to be so over the top blind partisan at a time like this is truly another level of derangement. Here’s some free advice to transbillsfan and others that are obviously so hysterical right now: turn the TV off, put the phone/tablet/computer down, pick up a book and read a nice story.
  13. the irony in this post is astounding.
  14. according to one of the constitutional scholars earlier in the thread, that’s not true because.... federalism means that each state has to defend itself from foreign invasions or some approximation of that epically brain dead statement.
  15. come on, take it easy on him, he just watched “outbreak”.
  16. I haven’t seen anything above 4.4% and as low as 1%. I get all the denominator and testing issues as well. Point being, I have a feeling the mortality rate is probably pretty low compared to SARS, MERS, Ebola, etc.. im wondering at what point we start moving from complete shut down to more of a risk management approach. This doesn’t seem very sustainable for long.
  17. What are we looking at for latest mortality rates?

  20. Ha!! Maybe we can clone him!
  21. can he stay on for your more year, guide them to a 6-10 record while TB goes 6-10 as well, each retires in 2021 and the Pats draft around 10 so they don’t get Lawrence?
  22. did you see the news that the Bills just acquired Stef Diggs? Is he a playmaker or no?
  23. Coronavirus is reshuffling the world order, in which the Bills will be on top!!
