The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
dubs replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
"Do people sell sell you...?" What what the the heck heck does does that that mean mean? You really have the cognitive ability of rock. If you can point to anything Ron Paul wrote in that article and offer up a coherent argument against, then maybe someone will take you seriously. Until then, you are just part of the hysterical clan of nitwits who can't articulate an argument and instead just post the Marxist propaganda of the day. -

http://www.ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2020/august/03/europeans-are-waking-up-to-government-covid-tyranny-why-are-we-still-asleep/ there’s nothing more biased than The NY Times, Washington Post, CNN and the rest of the Ministry of Truth. -
Here’s an idea, and I’m just spitballing here, but why don’t we just do what we’ve been doing rather than try and rework the entire voting system in a few months. The only difference would be that you wear a mask. boom!!! Problem solved.
-
Thanks, it's almost like you have to explain everything down to the atomic particle for these nitwits. Sometimes I take for granted that there's not a baseline of knowledge.
-
Yes. When a person proactively requests a ballot to be used in place of voting in person, that's acceptable. When ballots are sent out, en mass, to everyone, that essentially asking for anarchy.
-
The kid truly is amazing. Let's recap: Fibs : "Tom Cotton says that slavery is necessary" The world: "Um, actually what he said was that the founding fathers viewed slavery as a necessary evil" Fibs: "False! Many of the founders saw slavery as a positive good" The world: "Um, bro, the point is that you tried to claim that a sitting US senator stated that his opinion was that slavery was necessary"
-
ouch. This is a pretty shocking point of view, even coming from you, a person that made the statement that Thomas Sowell “is acting white”. yikes.
-
If you support mail in voting I think it's fair to say that you might want to reconsider voting for a long time, for the good of the human race. It a clear sign that your brain is malfunctioning.

It truly does amaze me how far the NPCs ignorance will go. to dismiss even the potential benefits of a therapeutic is just astonishing to me. Dismiss it right out of hand. It makes no sense. you’ve got Tibs citing studies that have been retracted, you got Shady pretending he’s a doctor, and god knows what Billstime is doing in between eating paint chips and playing blocks.

Just was wondering why we didn't get any clarity on why the article cited which quotes Fauci references a study which appears to be entirely RETRACTED? Surprised I didn't see any explanation on that.
-
Does a retweet mean a complete endorsement? I view it as getting it out for people to see, but I'm not a really big Twitter or social media person. As for the quotes, every single one was a couched statement about promise and hope. I don't see what's wrong with that. Honestly, maybe his style is off and he doesn't speak as clearly as others, but I think most people understand his style at this point. To suggest he's out promoting this as a cure is just wrong though. He's not nor has he ever done that.
-
How? It's what he said time and time again. If you can point me to a statement he made saying that it was a proven cure, I'm all ears. Regardless, Trump's statements on it are a Red Herring. The whole point I am trying to make is how bizarre the hysterical reaction is against any mention of it being beneficial. The one study that was linked here was a RETRACTED study. If it's so widely known to be a bogus treatment, it should be very easy to point to the evidence.
-
touted as what? he’s touted it as a promising therapeutic. that’s not in dispute, correct.
-
Can you show me where he said that? I mean, that might be how the media portrayed it, but everything I saw him say was simply saying that it showed promise.
-
Like I said, I don't know the answer. But I do think it's bizarre that it's being dismissed so aggressively. I did go to the CNN article that you posted (thanks for the link) and then clicked through study that Fauci referenced. The title of the study is now: "RETRACTED: Hydroxychloroquine...." There is also a big red RETRACTED on every page. Not sure if that's bad. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(20)31180-6/fulltext

The thing that's the most disturbing to me about this "controversy" isn't necessarily whether or not hydroxychloroquine + zinc is an effective treatment or not, but rather how rabid the media and largely the left (but not all) become at even the mere suggestion of it's effectiveness. That's just an extremely suspicious reaction. A proper, balanced reaction would be something like this: "There has been some interesting anecdotal evidence by a small group of practicing physicians that hydroxychloroquine + zinc may have some therapeutic benefits in treating Covid-19. We would not recommend its use until a larger trial has been done and as always, we do not recommend any treatment without consulting and under the supervision of your physician." Instead, you get total hysteria, censorship, and character assassination. Doesn't that strike people as extremely suspicious? I mean, I am not advocating for HDC + Z or saying it's completely bogus either, just that the reaction against it is so whacked-out that it makes me more suspicious than if no one said anything at all. I will say this though: Imagine what would happen if it was an effective treatment. In an instant the billions and billions set to be made on a vaccine go up in smoke and the control that governors have been exerting over the citizens goes away. Instantly. Boom, gone.

so you don’t know the difference between a cure and a therapeutic. I feel sorry for you. -

Are you saying that Hydroxychloroquine isn’t a well known, safe, and effective therapeutic that’s been used to treat other diseases like malaria for nearly 50 years and has shown promise as an effective therapeutic for Covid but rather more like injecting bleach into your veins? you need to work on your comparisons. unless you were one of the people that thought ingesting fish tank cleaner was the same thing. How’s your stomach by the way? -

the irony in this statement is incredible. Let’s start with the obvious: yes, I agree with you, when these animals riot in the streets and put the lives of other people in danger, and they burn, loot, destroy, and commit other acts of violence, there’s a higher likelihood of more violence from law enforcement whose job it is to protect citizens and property. So we agree there. Not sure what you mean by Don’s army. If you’re talking about Federal Law Enforcement, well, then you don’t really understand how Federal Law Enforcement works. The Army is a branch of the military.
