  2. the scene is a cold winter day in Lackawanna. A young couple stops in to visit a coffee shop and this is where we meet Phil, a recently appointed partner at the NYC brokering house of William and Randolph Duke who coaches the NYC blind basketball league after being a 4 year letterman at Penn. Phil's soon to be wife, Juliette is a writer after having multiple injuries preventing her from dancing after her 2 years at Juliard where she left to go Barnard. They are making plans for a nice getaway to Niagara on the Lake and finally roll into town to stop at family bakery where Kyle has returned home to help his grandparents run without telling her he was failing college at Oswego and has a pending drug charge for pills in his car. He is still a nice guy and won at least two hacky sack battles in college. Still, he is a nice guy with charming good looks. ...long story short Kyle convinces Juliet to take over the cookie business with him and begin her writing there with absolutely no business experience. Phil goes back to NYC and finds a 10/10 who isn't cracked out in fantasy land and lives happily ever after while Juliet deals with Kyle 10 years later, a bankrupt cookie shop, 2 kids, and kyle promising he will leave the casino by 11pm.
  3. not my point. my point is that this should be in addition to him being the best player on the board. it should have absolutely no bearing on decisions if he can play football. there are only two things that matter when we draft a cornerback: 1) can he play the position better than anyone else on the board? 2) did he bring a notebook to the meeting? if either of those are yes, we run to the podium.
  4. I don't need a *~~😇😇Feel♥️Good♥️Story😇😇~~*. I need a hard nosed football player. Good for this dude but play ball.
  5. He's talented as a backup QB. The next Tyrod.
  6. Patty loveless - 455 rocket. Helluva car
  7. Mercury Blues - Alan Jackson - Mercury Run - George Strait - Chevy The One I Love - George Jones - Corvette The Car - Jeff Carson - Mustang Pickup Man - Joe Diffie - Coup DeVille (coincidentally doesn't mention a truck brand or type at all) That Ain't My Truck - Rhett Atkins - Chevy Those are just off the top of my head. Want more?
  8. Got 3 more 1) the fans of the Chiefs have come into the sport faster and with more victories than any other team since the Patriots, as they discovered football 5 years ago 2) Travis Kelce-Swift fans have single handedly boosted pharmacy stock 50% 3) thanks to the chiefs most of us realize that Kansas City is in Kansas... Or Missouri. We aren't really sure but we don't care, actually.
  9. Douglas is 6'2, 210. If we can get him the IV we have Poyer to get that dawg blood in him than it could be amazing. With his size he can still offer something in the big dime corner for certain downs in specific schemes. At 30 it'd be hard pressed to talk him into that or get him willing to sacrifice his body. But, if he could, he could surely play the small field in the middle to cover the 2TE or others.
  10. It's a weird position people back then into but everyone doubles down. Both Douglas and Hamlin had problems last year. They're mutually exclusice.
  11. 1) Andy Reid son has been sober and homicide free for over a year 2) none of their fans have got high and froze to death that we know about 3) they have acceptance toward those who commit crimes
  12. And Douglas as a big dime is a-ok with me.
  13. there is a great documentary on him to watch if anyone wants to learn baout how fascinating he is
  14. so how do we fix judge shopping? what is the correct answer for the guy deported?
  15. So the first judges ruling was ignored and a second judge came in and deemed it that he may stay. So, judge shopping and getting the favorable rule is acceptable? The guy committed a crime and was allowed to continue living in the US based on an individuals interpretation. The judge concluded he alone may decide this fate despite. The legistative branch, in your opinion, did not get the law right to the tinyith t being crossed therefore all else is moot. That the system was not allowed to carry out its fully due process through trial, review, and appeal. Does this belief carry through in all cases involving politics? To say that OJ is innocent, Trump did not commit any crimes related to January 6th, Clinton didn't committ crimes, and Nixon was innocent of all activities?
  16. The original interpretation deemed him to be in violation of the law of immigration thus he was subject to removal by the law. The judge later determined that his interpretation of the law let him decide to circumvent the written law. If you believe this is permissible than you are deciding that any judge is capable of overriding both the executive and legislative branch, correct?
  17. There isn't a narrative and it's not about insults. It's about taking the time to get to your discussion when I'm done with round. And for the record, it will confuse roundy but I am not in favor of all of the ways the immigration law is used. Who's to say that my great great grandpa didn't illegally enter the country in 1806 and thus i am illegal and should be deported to Hungary? Or that my grandma may have been in the Crypts so I am of criminal origin and can be deported? So the interpretation of the law set him to be incarcerated for a crime for being here illegally to which the punishment or justice is to be removed from the territorial property of the US?
  18. Rip Iceman you were a real genius.
  19. I asked a question. Does a judge have the ability to change the laws of the United States?
  20. I am not going walk into two arguments making the same point to two individuals both interested in different topics. Round is about as intelligent as a 9 yr old with a pocket knife high on soda pop. However, he's not very honest so I have to handle him with special care. An argument on multiple fronts is difficult to defend a position when a special needs student is hurling spitballs at the chalkboard and someone else tries to discuss this on a more rational level Regardless, the guy has shown to be a judicial risk, a flight risk, evidence shows he is a gang member as well. Since 2012 he's been in the system. He should have long been removed. There is no reason to wait any longer. The bells and whistles about who he may be or what affiliations he has aren't that important. He may have knocked up some dumb broad and may have a poor child in this world who will never know their father. That's not anyone else's fault but his father's and mother's. The world ain't nice, it sucks, but this dude should have been thrown out in 2012 when it was found he broke the law.
  21. Does a judge have the ability to change the laws of the United States? Hold on, sweetie. I'm dealing with one simpleton at a time.
  22. Which laws are not being bound to with respect to deporting an illegal immigrant?
  23. I, like you read headlines, when I saw it was you typing I stopped reading and pretend the rest of what you said fits my narrative like the supposed innocent man taken to el Salvador who was here totally legally and by pprt of entry..
  24. No I don't. I want the states to have ultimate power and the feds to be an arbitrary factor to settle a few things. The fed handles foreign trade, interstate commerce, and national defense. But this is not what I want. You want a court order to mandate the guy is legally in this country, yes? That decision by the court to veto any executive action?
  25. So, the judicial system can outrank the executive and you're cool with that? We are gonna walk this out and then you can eat your own words when we are done. Good luck. 🫡 Let's dance
