depends how dark the smoke is....?
-
Related only partially because it was so stupid. My office went into lockdown today. Someone asked if it was due to the smoke outside. In full view of SWAT and about 60 cops around our building because a suspected armed person at a nearby building. Smoke causing lockdowns! 🤣🤭🤷🏼♂️

boyst replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Best I can do to say I fixed it for tou....I have a gggggreeeat reply but I can't post it. Simon said I get too political ☹️ Coughlins law. Bury the dead. The stink up the place. It also never speak I'll of the dead, which is the same point. They're gone. No matter who they are, any and all of their bad is gone. -

I am not threatened but I am concerned. Adding any more potential weapons to that team is concerning. I don't think he will make a massive difference in their abilities but he will be capable of changing game schemes and strategies. Potentially to the point of taking over a game enough to keep Tua safer. As much as it rides on Tua with a decent OL, a good mix of RB's, finding a serviceable TE, and their WR's that dorky coach douche (McDaniel?) Is capable of playing the team conservative enough to win. Their defense can stop teams from scoring 20 pts. Their offense can score 20+ points.

He has hit a major drop off from his peak. He will still be a force. On the right team where he has limited touches and a good OC he will prosper. He could get 1k in Miami, NY, SD, or teams who pass.

Former first round picks on our defensive line
boyst replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes. Lawson is Kelsey. Kelsey was overpaid and overvalued by our FO. But he was also underappreciated by our fanbase. -

What do you mean? That Sean dude linebacker was terrible by the time he got here. Too small and beat up, just like ray. And then Chris Kelsey was always overpaid an underrated, well Lawson is underrated and underpaid. I was not insulting either one of them. Just the truth -

I'm glad others brought up Ray and Lawson. The former is equal to that San Diego linebacker who came here and did nothing several years ago. The latter equal to Chris Kelsey. -
It's June 2023. There's nothing wrong here. 😑🤣

I've loved Evans since the day he came out. Watkins and OBJ got all of the fanfare when it was clear Evans was going to be more like an Eric Moulds type player. Dude is legit. Id love to have him.

What's been grinding my gears recently is the state of medical care. NP's in accelerated programs to graduate with a "masters" in 18 months and you'll never know if you're seeing an MD or a NP in most cases at a hospital, especially in the emergency room. Diagnostocs are getting missed more and more, and nurses just don't have the training to provide care needed for many events but we, the consumer, are paying for a doctor's care, expecting educated professionals when all we are getting are fast tracked basics trained NP's and RN's. And when we go to the doctor we are getting charged with a doctor's consult after never having a consult with an actual MD. Hell, my stepson had an eye infection and the NP never even looked at his eye and we were charged a physical exam and consultation. We notified the insurance company and the medical board about the fraud after we had informed the manager of the practice of the issue that went ignored. Further, an acquaintance recently died after being misdiagnosed by a series of non-doctors, so it's a fresh annoyance. 1) It blows my mind that people don't request doctors in medical emergencies 2) it blows my mind people don't read the transcripts for their medical bills (my wife was charged for a C-section when she didn't get one!)

I can promise I have never not done this.

Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)
boyst replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Floyd has 237 sacks last week. How many did Hopkins have? -
That's Kingsley Jonathon, sir.

agreed 100% basham maybe slightly better overall with his entire skillset but lawson is very good at edge defending against the run. and with a good OLB (milano) and some pass rush from anywhere else we need a good run edge defender. i'd rather keep lawson because he is simply better at contain if nothing else.

Moulds was better than TO
-
I'm happy we kept him. I hope we can still improve our front 5

I vote @Simon when all is said and done combined these threads and puts a tombstone on it at the end and declare it DeAndre Hopkins Thread (RIP 1/10/23-xx/xx/xx). -

The drop off in WR3 to WR4 isn't that much across the league. They're all about mediocre. Few teams have talent at their third WR. Higgins, Chase, Boyd is among, if not the best. And there are plenty of people on the Bengals boards and fanbase that don't appreciate Boyd. We have no viable options behind WR1 (Diggs) as it stands now. Knox was inconsistent if not invisible in '23. Davis did not step up at WR and we cannot believe he will in '23. Harry, Sherfield, and Shakir are not legitimate threats on an NFL roster. We cannot blindly put faith in Kincaid being an answer when we had struggled so mightly to use TE1 in '22. Our backfield isn't going to drastically contribute, either. When all is said and done the McBeane era will be defined by their inability to develop their drafted DL talent, their inability to find WR's, their wastefulness on OL, with the highlights being the big gamble on Josh, the development of the DB's and the change in character of this organization. -
D-line coach Eric Washington’s comments on Ed Oliver — hoo boy
boyst replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
this is nothing new - and what many expected from him in college. he has all of this talent and it was limited by other factors. his ceiling was obvious but he will have a long career in the nfl as long as he doesn't get lazier
