I meant it as a serious question. Foxboro Mike's signature says something to effect of Ty Law saying to Rodney Harrison "I know we are gonna win because we have Tom Brady". Do you think Drews teammates have that kind of confidence in him? Or do you think that when we are down by 5 with 1:30 left in the game that they go "oh stevestojan". I think the later but that is just conjecture
-
Happy Birthday from this 1969er! Hope you had a great one!
-
Philly has 24 points and 3 TDs. Do you know how many games it takes Drew to score 3 TDs? I would say its 5 games at least
-
I am still waiting for- DB will return to the form that had you wetting yourself in '02. -- CDCampy, 1/14/2003

Im in. Our offense sucks but our defense is kick ass. You will have a hell of a time putting up 14 points against us
-
Not sure what game you are watching Tom. Daunte is getting flushed out of the pocket everyplay within 2-3 seconds
-
Eagles are all over Culpepper too except Dauntes feet are not in cement.
-
Hey Mcnabb can even throw for a TD! I bet Culpepper can put more then 10 points against a pretty tough Eagles D tonight
-
I have been a Bills fan through the Vince Ferragamo days, since Bruce Mathison, the Billy Joe Hobert season, the Hank Bollock years, the 4 Superbowl losses, not beating Miami for a decade, all those 2-14 years, the strike, etc. I think I will be able to tough it through the Drew Bledsoe debacle!
-
Trading down was not an option. Donahue tried to trade down but there were no suitors. In todays game with the salary cap it is damn near impossible to trade out of a top 5 slot. Noone wants the cap ramifications and there are no sure things.

I agree with Sully. Drew excuse #17 was the oline sucked so we selected Mike Williams 4th overall. Drew excuse #31 was Gilbride was to blame so Gilbride was canned. Drew excuse #33 was it was GWs fault so bye bye Greg. Drew excuse #37 was Ruben Brown sucked so later Ruben. Drew excuse #54 was he needs speed at WR ala Peerless Price hence the Lee Evans pick. Instead of making excuses and selecting players perpetually trying to fix Drew it would be nice if we could select the best players to improve our team in a utilitarian way. WTF?
-
I agree but neither helps our offense or oline. Thats why you never draft for need you always select the best value on the board IMO
-
I keep reading how Mike is a bust, we blew that pick and we need to fix the offensive line. In hindsight who would you select? I am not a fan of Mckinnie- you can watch his stuff tonight. Ryan Sims was the guy I was campaigning for at the time of the draft and he has been solid. Roy Williams would be tremendous for us. Levi Jones or Dwight Freeney would be great. I like the Josh Reed pick in the second round but would of liked to have selected Lecharles Bentley in hindsight. Anyways I cannot fault the Mike Williams and Josh Reed picks at the time and I am not writing either off. A good QB would do wonders for both of them-

Drew only pats 3 times usually. Drew-pat-pat-pat
-
In hindsight you could of played any of the five and put up mad points. You are loaded at RB!
-
Career 76.8 rating. If you think he is gonna maintain a 86.3 rating(which would be his second highest rating ever) you need to lay off the drugs. Crack kills!
-
That sucks! I am in a money keeper league. My keepers were Deuce, Anquin Boldin, Fred Taylor, Chad Johnson, and Tony Gonzales. Two of the five our injured and two of the five have done jack stevestojan this year. WTF?
-
classic symtoms. Admitting Drew is the problem is the hardest part- let the healing begin.

Right on! Great post- very well articulated!

JP has one of the quickest releases in football and makes fast decisions unlike you know you
-
With hope, he will have learned to throw the ball away when in trouble. Unlike his college days. ]
HUH? You obviously never watched a Tulane game. That was the worst offensive line in college history. Tulane was gonna terminate the football program and JP helped campaign to keep it. JP ran for his life every play and put up great numbers. Not to mention JP is a tough motherfugga
-
The place will be electric and you will see it on the field too. Sure JP is gonna make his fair share of mistakes but he will play with intensity and passion and that alone will inspire our team. The fact that he can elude a pass rusher and pick up a teammate when they make a mistake will make for a much more cohesive offensive unit. I cannot wait to see his debut. I have a funny feeling that our WRs and offensive line will not look so bad when JP gets back there. Get well soon JP!
-
More to the point is that Drew is not a leader. No he is quite the opposite. His play will cause teammates to lose faith in him and will ultimately pull the team down. Who the hell is the leader on this team? Who leads the offense? Someone check and see if Drew has a pulse
-
I remember hearing something that Takeo was pleading "please give us something Drew. Come on" or something to that effect. I dont think Takeo beat him or anything but I might of missed something

Thats not a fair comparison. Drew has Eric Moulds(first round choice), Lee Evans(first round choice), Josh Reed(second round choice), Travis Henry(second round choice), Willis Mcgahee(first round choice), Mike Williams(#4 pick overall), and Jonas Jennings. RJ had Jeremy Mcdaniel, Avion Black, Kwame Cavil, Sammy Morris, Shawn Bryson, Jonathon Linton, Moulds, Peerless, Antwain Smith, Marcus Spriggs, Jerry Ostroski, Jamie Nails, Joe Panos.
Cant you see how much talent we have put around Drew trying to fix him? We pour all our resources into the offense neglecting other areas of need and what the hell do we get for it? Five games without an offensive TD last year and a whopping 20 points in two games this year. We have a kick ass defense and squander it because our offense sucks so bad. We have playmakers all over the place on offense. Problem is when you blitz us and put 8 in the box our QB cannot beat that.
RJ did not have one tenth of the talent around him that Drew has. RJ career 83.6 rating, Drew career 76.8 rating
