  1. The drinks are not free, you have to gamble to get them trust me it cheaper to buy them.

no way. I have found that the quickest drinks are at Paris and New York, New York. You can play nickel slots at NY, NY and pound Grand Marnier. Or you could go to any video bar, throw a $10 in, and every so often play a quarter for 5 card draw. My preferred method is to play $10 Pai Gow at Paris and pound Grand Marnier all day. You push over 40% of the time, less then 60 games an hour. Talk about a cheap way to get blasted

  2. How the hell is someone offended by that? Man do people need to get more thick skinned. I like when Jimi was on Dick Cavett and Cavett asked him(I am paraphrasing) "Jimi your unorthodox version of the Star Spangled Banner.." Jimi interupts"Its not unorthodox- its beautiful"

One thing people need to understand is the time period when Jimi performed that at Woodstock. There was much change going on in our country, much protests and much civil rights. When Jimi played that for the dissidents and radicals- it reitereated that is was their country too and that they were Americans as well. It unified IMO

  3. If that was my girlfriend, I swear to God I'd kill you, then her.

If that was my girlfriend I would beat the sh-- out of GWB21 right in front of the chick. Then I would say to her- "thats not for you-thats for disrespecting me"

  4. Yeah That's right I need some adive, alright so here's the deal

I made a "connection" with this chick tonight,  I got her # and email addy , but there's one small problem.  She has a man, but  we connected pretty well, we talked pretty much the whole night from 7pm-1am up until she had to leave at which point I got a hug and a kiss on the lips.  Should I make the effort and contact her or just forget about it and move on?

  5. Last week I ran over a possum with my bicycle. Possums are the dumbest animals ever. It was at night, no cars on the road. I have a bright light on my bike and the possum comes running full speed from across the street. I wasnt sure whether to speed up or brake would be better to avoid it. I started peddlng faster and the stupid thing ran right under my back wheel. I dont know how I didnt nail it with my pedal. It looked pretty hurting after. Possibly first fatality on my bike

  6. spending money is a social cause. this is something very few people understand.

TIME OUT - SERIOUS COOKING QUESTION

I use a microwave steamer a lot - convienience and time. Am I better off just adding the liquid and the vegetables on the tray at the same time? Or is it better to heat the liquid to boiling, then add the veggies and steam? I know the microwave is going to cook the vegs as they steam them, but it just seems like I lose a lot of calories heating water and can easily overdo/underdo the vegetables.

I had thought about pre-heating the liquid, then cutting back the traditional time by 30% or so. Thoughts? (Besides getting a vegetable steamer, I have a big seafood steamer - not going to buy new cookware for something I fix once per month.

    Thanks in advance, Chef.

OK, BACK TO FRIVOLITY AND ASS-WHUPPIN'S!!!

I have bamboo steam trays which I use for veggies. I boil water(in less then 30 minutes I might add) and then cover the trays. The veggies keep their nutrients and I can check how cooked the veggies are. Not sure if thats the answer you are looking for but veggies come out awesome that way

  8. Everyone is talking about the first shark attack. The second shark attack was stupidity. The dude was fishing waist deep with shrimp. One of the dumbest things you can do in Florida. 1 in 3 shark attacks in the world happens in Florida. Sharks are remarkable creatures and shark attacks are part of life. The media over sensationalizes shark attacks and many times they hype up attacks when the reality is shark attacks are down. Sharks perform a valuable service. They usually target weak or injured prey. In doing so they make gene pools stronger and more likely to survive. Its a pity about these two victims but both deaths were preventable. I declare the shark not guilty on two counts of manslaughter!
