Von Miller/Epenesa/Groot.......over/under 20 combined sacks??
Pete replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like calculated, long shot bets. I would bet, given huge odds, that AJ, Groot, and Von all get 10+ sacks each. Bills got pressure last season, without DaQuan, and having tomato cans backing up Oliver. Smoot, Carter, Williams, Johnson are major upgrades on DL. DaQuan was leading NFL QB pressure rate at time of injury. Interior pressure destroys plays. Oliver was playing the majority of snaps. Now Ed has help on DL. DL will be more stout against the run too IMO -
Post your best Father/Son or Daughter sports moments
Pete replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
In 1979, my family moved from West Seneca to New England. Every year since, my Father makes sure we get to watch several games every year together. Back then- you rarely saw your team in another market. My father would drive to nearest bar showing the Bills, snd take me there, so we could watch together. I was 10. Every year since then, we go to multiple Bills games. Since 1979, I have seen most Bills games at Jets. Giants, and Pats, thanks to my Father for making that happen. We have done many pilgrimages to Buffalo together. My father is now 77. We still go to Bills games every year. My father, brother, and I are even tighter, thanks to our love for Buffalo. -

Bass struggling at minicamp (and now at training camp)
Pete replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Last season later in year, you saw Bass lost confidence just by looking at body posture and facial expressions. Bass has the Yips. I’m not aware of any success stories once a player suffered from Yips in any sport -

My brother was born in Buffalo, but we moved to New England shortly after. He had never been to a Bills game. 3 years ago, He, me, and my Father had incredible Buffalo weekend- Schwabls, Cajun honey wings, mighty taco….and the Bills game! Once we got to tailgate, my brother was happy as can be. He wore his jersey proudly, but could have used another layer- it was cold. My brother didn’t care, he had perma grin. He was so happy to be hanging with Bills Mafia! so seeing my 40 year old brother at his first Bills game, with his brother and father, and the pure joy it brought him, I will always remember

Go get a large fry at McD today, Morgan Spurlock has died...
Pete replied to Just Jack's topic in Off the Wall
I read McDonalds French fries has 18 ingredients. Hell McDonalds salt has 3 ingredients. Fast food restaurants are garbage IMO and don’t serve food- they serve some ultra processed slop -
Surely it would. But Patriots didnt need star WRs. They did it with TEs. We have two great ones. KC just won Superbowl with a bunch of nobodies. IMO Bills are good enough to win Superbowl now. We have added YAC and players with high catch percentages. Aiyuk would be great. Bills have enough IMO, and next season is a talanted WR class once again. Bills are loaded with draft picks next season would be better to land our stud X WR, and not have cap ramifications

Things that really piss you off when driving.

I’ve been seeing this more and more- merging onto a highway, the car in front of me brakes entering the highway, for no reason. It’s puzzling to me -
I just remembered a great story . Blake Costenza So about 20 years ago, I am watching Sunday football at a bar in Essex, CT. I meet a great couple from New Jersey, they are Jets fans. After they found out I was a Bills fan, they asked for my address. They tell me their son is best friend is Blake Costenza. Blake grew up next door, Blake was like second son, and always at the house. Blake was a special teams beast. Mr was a big fan of Blake ST skills. About a month later, I get a package from NJ. Blake Costenza sent me a sweet Bills hat, the one that Im wearing right now as I right this. Blake signed it: Go Bills!! Blake Costenza Cheers to you Blake Costenza!

My father used to play basketball with Joe Delamielleure- part of the Electric Company(common knowledge- that was for young Bills fans). As a youth, I went to Joe D cookouts with many Bills there. That was a big thrill when I was younger. I met OJ once in the 70s too. Tony Greene came to my 1st grade gym class

To all the whiners about the Bills WRs in 24 Hardy 15 for 150 Sherfield 11 catches for 86 yards in 2023. Gabe 45 for 746 Diggs week 5 on- 26, 87, 49, 28, 24, 27, 34, 74, 36, 84, 70, 58 wah! Wah! wah! Diggs numbers after week 5 were weak. Coleman will have better games. As will Shakir. Do people think we did not upgrade Hardy? Lmao Does losing Sherfield upset you? arent you sick of Gabe dropping passes? Keon, Shakir, Mack, Dalton catch everything thrown their way. keep crying
-
Is that what your crystal ball told you? Bills bullied the Cowboys. Oline is bigger. Subtract diva at WR and Mack thinks everyone drafted before the 5th is soft.
-
Mack is one of my favorite Bills and he has yet to play a game. I laugh when people underestimate Mack. Bills WR have a new attitude now, and we are building a bully
-
I hoping Claypool thrives this season, and takes 14 to new heights!

Josh thinks he can come off the bench in the NBA
Pete replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good post. All the great Tight Ends are playing Power Forward in NBA. Danny Ainge is one of all time great athletes. Danny was First Team All American in football, basketball, and baseball. He played for Blue Jays 3 years before winning championships with Celtics.Tony Gwynn was basketball and baseball all American. Jackie Robinson was a 4 sport star
