We must be bored. That dead time between the draft and OTA's. What other reason do we have to talk about a Florida gator on this board. Trent is our QB, I would much rather talk about him than a college player. I do not care about Tim Tebow (I wish you luck in all of your endeavors). My vote would have been for John Elway. He did a tremendous amount without a lot of talent (until the end of his career). The is why I am not voting for Joe Montana, He did a lot with a tremendous amount of talent surrounding him. No my Vote is for Tom Brady, he might be the hardest QB to beat that I have ever seen.

Donte Whitner will have trouble making the Bills team this year. He was outplayed by Ko as a rookie, outplayed by Wilson 2 years ago and outplayed by Scott last year. No way Donte starts over Scott. Byrd very well may be his replacement not Simpsons.

I respect your article, but I have to disagree with 2 points in it. I am as big of a fan as they come I no longer live in Wester NY but I travel to a game every year. Usually an away game not the ralph. The constitution tells me I have the right to say how I feel and if that is telling someone who bitches and whines on a constant basis to go away I can.

The constant downtronden approach to things wears on people. NYC, I for one prefer hope to despair. I grew up in Lewiston but now live in Nevada and consider my self very lucky to have had the Bills in my life. I culturaly identify with them. If it was not for the Buffalo Bills western NY would be a distant memory to me know.

I have never been called a pollyanna before (not bad NYCBill), and I am a myopic homer at heart that is the truth. I will not deny it. But look at the improvements on this team and how can you not be happy. Buffalo has addressed major weakness in this team. If anyone watched the Bills last year how can you not deny that the interior offensive line play was abismal the absolute weakest part of out team. Needs addressed. Lee Evans versus opposing secondaries, that is not the case this year. Needs addressed. Pass rush. Needs addressed. Last year was maybe the most disappointing for me as a Bills fan this offseason might be the most encouraging for me as a Bills fan . I apoligize if I offended anyone. Everyone has the absolute right to express there opinios and frustrations. Just try and remeber why you became fans and what it means to you. If it causes you this much grief maybe it is not worth it.

Why do the pessimists even bother if all the bills do is piss you off and make you mad. I get great joy out of the Bills. Sure last year was a hard pill to swallow maybe the most disapointing season I can remeber. I agree with many of you on that point. Many of you only have negative things to say, the FO sucks the team sucks the owner sucks. SUCK OFF PESSIMISTS, go route for someone else because you do not route for the Bills. Most of you are happy when they fail just so you can say I told you so.

The chronic pessimistic approach of some fans is laughable, even if Buffalo was winning they would complain about something it is not in there nature to be positive. I for one am very happy about the progress of the Bills this year. I was very happy with all of the changes in the offseason esp JP being traded. To all the pessimist go have sex with somebody besides yourself and maybe you will feel better.

I think Langston Walker was by far and away our best lineman. I am not sure Butler will win the tackle job either. If he does though I will route for him.

Buffalo is preparing this team to compete realistically with all the other teams in the AFC east. They got killed by the 3-4 noseguards in the division hence getting rid off all three interior offensive linemen. Yeah Butler did suck also and his days as a guard are just about over in Buffalo. The additions of TO and Rhodes was all about the points. Proven Pros. This is a very good mix of young hardworking talent and exp pros. If Edwards gets it right this year this team will compete with anybody. There is a new attitude in Buffalo, soft players (Dockery) and malcontents (Peters) will not be tolerated. They will not go winless in the division this year. People are going to talk about this draft and the players that they brought in for 2009 as the turning point, the start of a new dynasty. I will go out on a limb now and say Russ Brandon is the executive of the year for the way he is turning around this team. Mental toughness and desire to play football are the kind of players that he is going out and aquiring. The mentaly soft Bills who fold like a lawn chair are not going to be on the field this year. I cannot wait till the season opener. Whipping Billy boy and uncle Tom on national TV is going to be a great feeling.

Please quit pissing about JP he is gone. Buffalo had an outstanding draft got value and need all along the board. Enjoy this looks like a new Bills era starting. And they are starting with a bunch of players who play hard all of the time.

Buffalo has drafted a player of need in every round this year including Byrd in round 2. Lets face it Whitner is just not very good and will never be a difference maker. Brandon is kicking ass and Nic is strictly a linebacker in the NFL

Bufflo added some very tough players with there last 3 picks and a sports car with there first. The interior offensive linemen they picked were excellent.
