  1. Or how about we sign Boldin, Harrison, Plax, and hell, we will get Brady* somehow too! ...when will this nonsense end??
  2. In Madden money is electronic, but here in the real world, money isn't infinite.
  3. OK guys, as we all know, Madden 09 can tell the future and in a recent franchise I created I made the bold move of trading Edwards for Favre and then drafted Stafford. Surprisingly enough, our beloved Trent became a Pro Bowler his first year at the Jets. Therefore, Trent will become a Pro Bowl caliber QB very soon. It's just that simple
  4. I agree 110%. The whole stadium felt like it was shaking the entire time especially when TO dropped the 2-point conversion real late in the game. And the field goal that Folk nailed was the loudest I have ever heard a place be in my entire life. Such an amazing atmosphere.
  5. If I remember correctly, you only have 10 days to appeal a suspension after it has been handed out. If that's true, then he can't appeal.
  6. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that Levitre played both tackles in college.
  7. Hahaha way to spell a players name wrong who was in the news for a really, really long time. Good job SKOOBY
  8. Yeah I have been hearing for a while that they want to put Bell at RT this year and move him over to LT at some point similar to what they did with Peters.
  9. I'm pretty sure, but don't quote me, that if Peters makes the Pro Bowl then its a 1st. Not sure of much else though.
  10. So apparently he is the Jason Peters of NFL Network.
  11. I would have to agree with you. If he is there at 11 (stranger things have happened) you can't pass up on a pure talent like that. Especially since TO is not guaranteed in 2010 and the jury is still out on Johnson and Hardy. Plus, if we trade Parrish, there's our new PR. Crabtree is probably a Pro Bowler within 3 years IMO.
  12. Come on now.. we all know we are taking two DB's in the first two rounds...
  13. The only way I would agree with this deal (not like it matters ) is if we could get Scheffler for him. Otherwise, I say pass on any deal and for God's sake, don't take a 4th rounder for him.
  14. SKOOBY must have gotten a new name to avoid getting his balls busted every time he posts on here. Unfortunately, he forgot to change his signature quote.
  15. Tell your friend to not follow football anymore.
  16. When people talk about trading Parrish it really just blows my mind. I mean yeah, we have McKelvin and McGee too but as other people have stated, there is too much to risk by having them do everything. We can't have two key parts of our defense this year getting popped like that a few times a game. Parrish's return on opening day last year was probably one of the best punt returns in history and most people are trying to get rid of him. He is way too valuable to lose and I can't imagine how April would react to that. Bottom line is, we keep Parrish. Period.
  17. As per boston.com, "The clarification specifically prohibits a defender on the ground who hasn't been blocked or fouled directly into the quarterback from lunging or diving at the quarterback's lower legs."
  18. Skip Bayless is one of the most ridiculous sports analysts in the business' history. I have come to believe that he never has anything useful to say and usually avoid watching programs with him in it. He is so negative about everything that I just can't stand him. He is simply a complete moron.
  19. I disagree with the new ruling because I feel that the NFL has gone too far to protect QB's in this league. If the injury happened to TE or any other non-marquis quarterback nothing would have been done about it but since it's Tom Brady they have to change rules. I know the NFL is about making money and having your key players in helps, but what about the integrity of the game? I mean it is a contact sport after all...
  20. And now let the newest rumor begin. "From sources deep within" reports say the Bills FO is interested in Rogers.
  21. We would probably get sponsorships from Paul Mitchell if we drafted him. If it keeps the Bills in Buffalo, do it Ralph!
  22. Lets give the Bills FO a hand for this incredibly ingenious move. They are really showing that they want to get those W's.
  23. You do make a good point about his conditioning. And yes it is a very tragic story and I hope I didn't come across as I was downplaying the severity and tragedy of the event. My condolences are with everyone involved.
  24. Evidently, most of you don't drink ever if you think that he had 50 drinks in 5 hours. I don't care if you are the biggest Irish person in the world, you would more than likely be dead after that. We all know the rule of thumb is .01 every drink so that would put him at .50 which would be near certain death. It would have been til late that night that he even came close to being the legal limit. Thinking he had 50+ drinks that night is absurd.
