I am sure we all know how the Bills are the Bills, but here ya go....
The Bills nickname was suggested as part of a fan contest in 1947 to rename Buffalo’s All-America Football Conference team, which was originally known as the Bisons.

i was thinking that as well. All you heard last year was how TO mentoring JH and it did not show this summer...

I hope it stays at six weeks. I beleive he needs a tough lesson taught to him. RG should have said it is six weeks and if your a perfect citizen and do all the rehab and show your on the right track it will not be bumped to 8 weeks.

As preseason comes to an end the analysis on Trent has been extremely positive. He seems to be thriving with Coach Gailey. Is it possible that Hardy may do the same? Has Hardy been hindered by immaturity and injuries? Why not retread his big ass too? Tonight I officially retract my CNP stamp (can not play)off of Hardy. His potential is obvious: He is huge, he can catch and he is a vet. I thought he did well. The passes that he dropped were low and behind him. The ones he did snag he showed good concentration off a tip and one in heavy traffic. I believe Chan has gotten his attention and he will remain on the team over the dime-a-dozen-short guys. remember we drafted him bc there is value with jump ball endzone guys. Sure Nelson has been a great find but why not keep them both? Speed kills, crisp routes ran as drawn are great and guys like Revis can punk the T.O.'s out there but you cant shut down height in a chaotic endzone.
I think after listening to Chans presser this am he sticks Low on the chart but he makes it and it up to him to move up.....

I give him a passing grade. Nothing great but his passes were for the most part on the money, scrambled better then I though, did a nice job reading the defense.
I did count 3 times when the receiver ran the wrong route or just plain fell down.
Grade C+
I think it is hard to evaluate him when he was running for his life back there. The line did him no favors, C

I've never been a big fan of Ellison, but he is a good tackler and decent coverage LB. I think he's a better option as the nickel LB than Scott or should at least be considered. I also think McCargo has had a solid pre-season. I don't think we have enough good LB's to consistently play a 3-4, so McCargo has a chance at a roster spot. McCargo and Ellison are probably battling for the same spot and it most likely comes down to special teams play.
Ellison was the LB covering the Patriots TE last year when he scored 2 touchdowns to win on MNF.....

I hated him ... Do you remeber the Love Fest the had for him when he returned from the steroid induced stroke (IMO) against the Bills, that was a painful night for Bills fans

The Rodgers Stadium looks new....
The Ralph is paid for, and Tax dollars are spent to upgrade it yearly. We have dicussed this severeal times, this is one of the reasons the bills are able to compete in a small market.
I would love a new stadium but I don't see it happening for a while even if we get a owner that keeps the team here in WNY.

Im not sure it is that, There are a lot of people on thoose teams now that will not be on the 53 man roster, I would not be surprised if guys like Moats and Ellis and Nelson are some of our big special teamers... I know they have been dreadful to watch but theese are not fuly assemled teams that we will see against the Phins

Meredith is in at LT, still going against Odom, the Bengals starter. He is looking pretty impressive. I like him more than Bell honestly.
Do you think they will move him over to the RT or will he be the swing? I guessing swing untill one side falls apart..

It never ceases to amaze me how people want to micro manage the goings and comings at OBD.
Oh how easy it is to play World Series of Poker when you can see the hands of the opponents.
Not to mention they put the percetages up on the screen for you to see the odd of winning.....

I'm spoiled now with satellite feeds. Watching online stuff coming and going and pixelating frustrates me too much to watch.
Picked up a cheap DirecTV dish on ebay, built a cheap portable PVC dish mount like this one (http://www.filesavr.com/pvcportabledishmount), got a fairly cheap yet good satellite receiver for a PC (http://www.proftuners.com/prof7500.html) for $70 (up to $90 now I see - I got mine direct which you apparently can't do anymore) and a PC/laptop with a HDMI out for the TV connection.
Never blacked out and usually at least a 420 HD feed.
Probably more work than most are willing to put into it, but that's stuff I play with anyway so for me it is just a nice bonus feature. If you are technically inclined I highly recommend it.
Am I right to assume that this is how you watch all games and tv? So you dont need direct tv? If so we need to talk!

I was surprised how poor he played last night. I thought he would have the rust knocked off by now. Lets hope he does by Week 1. Honestly we dont have a lot waiting in the wings to replace him
