  1. Cousins never got a fair shot in Washington. He wouldn't cost much, maybe a 4th round pick. Bring him in and let him compete for the starting job. What have we got to lose?
  2. I wasn't suggesting that he would have that power. I would have to think though that whatever Pegula decides on Marrone would be an indictment on Brandon.
  3. I think the deciding factor will be whether or not Brandon gets fired. If Brandon stays then Marrone is safe.
  4. It wouldn't surprise me if Pegula gives Whaley the boot and hires Bill Polian. Pegula has a thing for alumni.
  5. If I had to pick a player from our secondary it would be Aaron Williams.
  6. This isn't just about the slide on 3rd and 1. Go back and watch the KC game. Orton was throwing the ball away before defenders could lay a finger on him. He has a habit of giving up on plays too quickly. I was at the Chiefs game. I thought the game plan on offense was solid and I thought they called a good game against Denver as well. It's just that Orton has been that bad and his desire to win certainly comes into question. If Marrone ends up getting fired it will be because of his anemic offense and Ortons half-hearted efforts are a big part of that. Hence, the title of this thread.
  7. I never said he should publicly call him a coward. There are more subtle ways to send a message. Wasn't it Marrone who said he wants tough guys on his roster? The QB play has been unacceptable as of late and Ortons toughness is in question. He could have said that he would make a decision on the starter for Green Bay later in the week to send a message to Orton that play like that will not be tolerated.
  8. Parcells once said he would rather be respected than liked. Marrone seems like he's trying to be everyones friend, and ultimately I think that will lead to his demise. He even took responsibility for the penalties yesterday saying it was on him. This team needs leadership and if it doesn't come from the coach or the QB where will it come from? That was the point I was trying to make.
  9. Kyle Ortons refusal to make an effort to try and scramble for a first down yesterday was the worst thing I've seen from a Bills QB since Billy Joe Hobert publicly admitted to not studying the playbook. If that wasn't bad enough, after the game Orton stated that he should have thrown the ball away and let the coach make a decision to go for it on 4th down. Worse than all that though was Doug Marrone defending Orton at the podium after the game. How do you defend a play like that when your defense week after week plays at a high level and puts the team in position to win games? I wonder how they felt watching that lame effort from the sidelines. There is nothing wrong with calling out your QB once in a while. Pettine did it in Cleveland and Philbin did it in Miami. Someone on this board said that some people are not cut out to be leaders. Kyle Orton will never lead this team to the playoffs, and Marrones defense of his cowardly play yesterday may have sealed his fate as coach of this team.
  10. "Where the hell is that dude with my snickers bar?!!!"
  11. Agreed. If he's not taking penalties that wipe out nice gains he's dropping easy passes.
  12. RG3 looks like he is on the outs in Washington. I would love to see him here. Then all we would have to do is keep the defense intact, resign Spiller and upgrade our offensive line. RG3 to Watkins could be a great combination.
  13. What do you do for an encore, pour sugar down my gas tank while anally raping my mother? -Clerks
  14. Was there any point during the game where he uttered the word diddly poop?
  15. Shwarts needs to call a good game on defense and I suspect he will.
