I am shocked anyone wants to draft a QB in the first round.. good god people.. we can't even keep a QB upright long enough to throw a pass more than 10 yards most of the time. Can we please address the OL in the first round? I am not a Trent Edwards fan, but how good could this guy have been with a solid line in front of him? The guy is gun shy from getting crushed every damn play. Games are won in the trenches.. The OL and DL are the most important components of a winning team. We haven't had a decent O line in over 10 years! I am ok with our D line.. but we also need LB's bad! If it were up to me I would probably spend all of my draft picks on OL and LB's!! I doubt he would want to interview with any team. Dude is in his first year with Rex Ryan and has only been a O coord for 3 years. He has a solid rookie QB and the best rushing offense in the league. Sounds like a great position to be in to me. Not everyone wants to rush into a head coaching job.

It has nothing to do with the roster.. They need an east coast guy to come in. Even approaching Rivera was stupid to begin with.

I can't believe I am going to say this.. but I wouldn't mind seeing Marty in Buffalo. I live in San Diego and was against the Chargers hiring him back in the day.. but man did he put together a good team out here and didn't think he deserved to get fired. Fellas.. lets face it.. our o line sucks ass.. Fitz seems to be the better scrambling QB and takes chances.. I think if our line gave the qb a couple more seconds to throw Edwards would be great, but that's not the case.. We get a three step drop if we're lucky. I think Fitz should be the QB until our line play gets at least half way decent. Why risk killing Edwards? He doesn't even pick up blitzes or realize pressure.. at least Fitz can move out of the "pocket" if you can call it that.

I actually though Jabari Greer was one of the best CB's we've had and we let him go too.
