Don't know why I STILL root for the Bills. The Raider fans at my work laugh at me. WTF? Niners fans have something to look forward to....Me.....Another year of Dick Ball.

If he doesn't get fired by TOMORROW I am gonna start rooting for either the Niners or Raiders.

I have a round robin of sights I check... In order: espn.com for any shimmer of hope, nfl.com, for any rumor buffalobills.com back to espn.com for Tim's blog then back to nfl.com... All the while I have espn news on, and I am watching the ticker like a hawk. I have been repeating this process 5 times a day.....

Don't forget about Gandy in Arizona, Coy Wire in Atlanta, Jim Leonard with Baltimore last year and the Jets this year.

Personally I was waiting for Jauron to forfeit the game at halftime. I guess its a good thing I am not the head coach haha.

Is Ralph really that controlling? I am from NorCal and from here it seems like Ralph is barely involved at all. Am I wrong in seeing this? I see the involvement of past and present owners from this area (Eddie DeBartolo and Al Davis) and to me Ralph is a pushover compaired to these two. I just don't get it.

Bills wanted Brees By Chris Brown - Posted October 5th, 2009 According to SI.com’s Peter King in a conversation he had with current Saints defensive coordinator and former Bills head coach Gregg Williams, the Bills wanted Drew Brees way back in the 2001 draft. In his MMQB column he outlines a conversation he had with Williams. Naturally they were talking about Brees and Williams brought up Buffalo’s draft plans in 2001. As Williams tells it the Bills wanted Nate Clements in round 1 and obviously got him even though they traded down to pick 21 (from 14). In round 2 holding the 46th pick the Bills wanted to move up so they could take Drew Brees as their quarterback, but there were no takers and San Diego grabbed Brees at the top of the 2nd round with the 32nd pick. “I almost pulled a hamstring in the draft room, jumping up and down because I was so mad,” Williams told King. As King astutely points out, can you imagine how that would have changed Buffalo’s fortunes at the position? The following year they likely would not have traded for Drew Bledsoe. And as Williams told King. “I’ll tell you this: I wouldn’t be sitting here in New Orleans right now.”

This may be a dumb question but I am gonna ask it anyway Tim. Why don't the Bills go after a high profile guy? I keep hearing on this board that Ralph is a cheap skate. Is that true, or does the Bills franchise not make enough money to bring in a guy like that? Where does the money that a head coach gets come from? Has any NFL franchise hired a special teams coordinator as a HC?

I hear that there is a backup QB position open for the Las Vegas Locomotives in the UFL.

Tim, I heard on either Sunday Night Countdown, or NFL Blitz (espn news) that Holmgren wanted to "raise the curtain" again. Could we presume that a certain NFL team in western New York has been looking for a new head coach? Or am I being too wishful? BTW, thank you for taking your time to answer these questions.

This is a truly pathetic display of football. I have been a Bills fan since 79. I have never been so discouraged about this team. Time for change. Fire the coaching staff, EVERYONE. Trade Edwards for draft picks (if you can get any). Trade Owens because he is useless on this team. Trade damn near everyone with a shred of talent on this team in order to stockpile draft picks. Hire a new coach, one with a true winning record and allow him to rebuild this crap franchise.

When Jim Kelly says that last season you couldn't tell on Monday whether or not you won or lost on Sunday then you have a problem in the locker room. TO won't allow that crap to happen, he WILL say something. If Fred or anyone else has a problem with that then they should have done something about it LAST SEASON!!! With that said, I like that someone is starting to mouth off a little bit. It seems that the Bills need that kind of vocal, get in your face leadership which is why they brought TO in to begin with, IMO.
