  1. agreed..it's not like the Saints D has stopped the Vikings either.
  2. I don't know if it's voodoo or what, but Saints at home are a different team.
  3. It is crazy. Also don't forget, that includes games started by EJ. Drew Brees has played every single one of those games except for 1. Their current run is crazy. I hope they leave some in the tank for October.
  4. Yup. Last 3 seasons: 7-9; 7-9; 7-9. Worse winning % than the Bills.
  5. Exactly the same with me.
  6. ah, was this posted already?
  7. I picked the Vikes, but more importantly had Diggs on my fan duel for the week and he just won it for me. I find myself rooting for Vikes quite often.
  8. https://www.maxim.com/sports/bills-fans-public-blow-jobs-2017-9 oh. boy... "MULTIPLE REPORTS OF IN-STADIUM SEX AT BUFFALO BILLS GAME CONFIRMS THAT THEY HAVE NFL'S WILDEST FANS"
  9. 1. Calm down. Im about as positive as they come. 2. If you wouldve read what I wrote you wouldve notice my critique of Hughes and Dareus goes well beyond 1 game. We're talking about a sample size of dozens of games now. And the one game yesterday was simply an extension of that. 3. Dareus may be 3 years older but hes still in his prime. Hughes just turned 29. Kyle williams is 34 and still bringing it.
  10. So TT didnt have a below average/bad game yesterday?
  11. It was by no means an acrobatic catch. He just had to make it a smidge behind his body. It was not high. Not low. Literally eye level to his left shoulder. The hit came after he already missed it. It hit his hands at eye level within the radius of his left shoulder pad. Its a clear drop to me.
  12. I agree. Great thread overall.
  13. I disagree. Dareus had 7.5 sacks and 10 sacks at the DT position before he fell off the face of the earth. As such, he was paid like a DT that should get 7-10 sacks each season. And not just as another space eating DT. Dareus isnt wilfork who is just there to stuff the run. Hes not paid to do that. 2 of the 3 highest paid players (17% of our salary cap) on this team are on the DL. That alone dictates that we SHOULD have a DL that can step up and get pressure without having to blitz. Including Kyle Williams, 3 of our top 8 highest paid players (vs the cap) are on the DL. Almost 23% of our entire cap to 3 players. We need more production from Dareus and Hughes.
  14. You may be right. Something to keep an eye on going forward.
  15. I agree that many teams dont get pressure with 4 guys, however, what im trying to say is that we should be one of the teams that gets pressure with 4guys. And if we cant do that i dont think our defense will be successfull in the long run. Jerry Hughes now has 11 sacks in his last 33 games. He is supposed to be our premier pass rusher. Those numbers just dont cut it. Dareus has 5.5 sacks in his last 24 games. That wont cut it either. Im not saying this defense is going to be horrible. But against above average passing teams, If this defense cant bring the heat without blitzing we're going to be in trouble.
  16. Its a divisional game. They swept us last season and averaged like 34 points a game vs us. Its the home opener. Our offense put up a crap load of yards vs a decent defense and our defense shut down a poor offense. There was very little to complain about from yesterday other than our kicking woes continue.
  17. Awesome post. The lack of pressure is something to watch. Vs a better offense with a better QB they will obliterate us in the passing game if we let him stand back there for 5sec +. Hughes now has 2 sacks in his last 12 games. If hughes cant improve on those numbers our pass defense is going to suck.
  18. Its brutal. The irony is that so many people on here hate Jerry Sullivan but in reailty this board is full of Jerry Sullivans.
  19. So you're telling me that if Clay catches that ball in the end zone we would move on from almost 300 all purpose yards and 3td and 0int. You wouldnt take that on a weekly basis? Ok. The fascinating thing to me is that I get criticizing the QB when he plays poorly. But when said QB is still criticized when he plays well, that is a head scratcher. Tyrod shouldnt even be a negative topic of conversation this week in any way. There will be several weeks this season when it will be justified. Or is it that people simply cant wait until he has a bad game?
  20. I agree. They ran away with the game largely bc the 49ers suck but Cam was throwing off bis back leg half the time. 7.5pts seems like a bit much.
  21. Kyle is a an all-time great for the Bills.
