Teams have been loading the box for 2+ seasons now. Why are some of you acting like this is new? Our run blocking is putrid. I dont recall having so many runs for a loss as we've had so far. Our oline is getting beat at the point of attack. Our oline doesnt know what theyre doing. Thats coaching/scheme.

Disagree. 1. They didnt sign Boldin expecting him to retire. 2. Impossible to predict Matthews injury. 3. No one expected Jones to be THIS bad. Or else we wouldnt have traded UP for him. 4. Impossible to predict Clay injury. Boldin, Mathews, Clay, Jones is serviceable for a team that doesnt focus on the pass. Jones and a steaming pile of Poo behind him is not effective or serviceable for any kind offense. And the 1 million pound gorilla in the room: our run offense has been completely destroyed this season with the new run block scheme and its been compounded by the dropoff in explosiveness from our WR group.

I dont disagree. But there are about 5 QBs in the NFL that could elevate a steaming pile of poop that is our WR corps; And 3 are first ballot HOF. Yes, Tyrod is not on that level.
