My review of last years rams/bills game
WeAreMarshawn23 replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes I like Ellison as a back-up but Pisa is worlds better than him as a starter. The guy does make plays though, solid int, sack and FF numbers but more importanly tackls for loss. The guy has I belive 30 of those. -
Getting in great shape and working hard has been something McCargo has never been known for. So I'm hoping that the light bulb has turned on for him, this guys potential is unreal. A big man who has that quick of a first step is next to impossible to find and him actually getting built while shedding that fat will make him that much quicker.

Rams released LB Pisa Tinoisamoa

Man I'd sign him in a second, instant upgrade, screw Levi, get this guy. -
Not going to even bother reading this. KC Joyner is a nerd and this scientific crap does not belong in football. This is the same metrics system that has Losman rated as a top 10 qb 2 years ago, bogus.

Brad Butler! debate his merits at guard

His length, power, nastiness and technique will make up for his average athletecism. Butler will be fine out there and will actually be an improvement in run blocking over Langston. -
Brad Butler! debate his merits at guard
WeAreMarshawn23 replied to billybob's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because they wanted to put him at tackle. -
You realize the blocking scheme and offense system had more to do for that horrible season by that o line than the players. Shell was using a blocking scheme that was 15 years out of date, all they did offensively was take 7-9 step drop backs. And on top of that they had 3 offensive line coaches plus Shell always chimming in, that is a recipe for diseaster.

Levi Jones doubtful to Bills
WeAreMarshawn23 replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Langston is a lot more mobile than people give him credit for and pass protection is his best assest. I think the coaches would believe the same thing to. -
Seriously, watch did you watch to make you come to the conclusion that Butler was terrible at guard. Boy I'm so glad your not running this team.

Brad Butler! debate his merits at guard

Butler is more suited for RT than guard anyways but he was clearly the 2nd best lineman last year. I for one think highly of him and can't wait to see him at tackle. -

I am one of the few who really doesn't like Godell and it's for this reason. He's pussifying the sport, the No Fun League is in full effect. Though Goodell does seem that he really wants the Bills to stay in Buffalo so he's got that going for him. -
He's actually my sleeper to replace Ellison. I was shocked when he went undrafted, the kid can play.
-
I really didn't care if we took Maybin or Orakpo, the only problem I had with Rak is all he does is bull rush. Can you name one d end who gets by on just the bull rush, I can't.

Great find, that was an excellent video. I'm really liking the Harris pick even though I wanted Freeman. What I like even more about it is I heard that they want Harris at 240 and he said that's no problem. Being a safety he was constantly keeping his weight down. I have to say Shawn Nelson, in terms of value will by far be the best pick in this draft.

Dream Roster as of April 29th, 2009
WeAreMarshawn23 replied to Dylanme8's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As long as they guys are at those positions day 1 of training camp they will be fine. I'm not worried at all, in fact I'm excited. -
I want to see Walker and Butler at Tackle. While they're not the most athletic tackles, their size, experience, and technique will make up for it. As long as the line is set by training camp the cohesion and continuty will be fine.
-
I'd do this as long as we don't lose our 2nd and both our 4ths, Monroe is a going to be a force. That said I don't see them doing this and I would rather sit back and wait anyways.
-
I still don't think Britten's there at 28 but I'm praying he is, if not we Beaty better be. Though Loadholt could be a good pick up in Rd 2.
-
Oher has been quoted by scouts as the most atheletic 300 pound lineman they've ever seen. You def have to consider him if he's there, but I have a feeling he wont be. But if that happens I think Raji or Orakpo will be. I love Britton at RT so I want him at 28.
-
Man I really like that draft, the only picks I would change is in the middle rounds. I would take Beckum over Marohah but it wouldn't kill me, take Hamlin with that other 4th. Then def take Follet over Ellison but I see no way Follet makes it to round 5. That would be a phenominal draft.
-
I'd be down cause I think Langston will def be the starting LT. Britton and Butler are similar players, both nasty and somewhat dirty. And that's exactly the type of lineman this team needs.
