  1. I can visualize it. Without a doubt.
  2. Dude....PLEASE tell me this is a joke...I'm too lazy to check buffalobills.com, and I have seen fake websites before...this CANNOT be real. If it is, heaven help us.
  3. Well, I heard yesterday that the Arena Football League cancelled their season for a year, so that's not an option...
  4. So many plays from JP keep playing over and over in my head like a record skipping that it's sometimes forgotten to widen perspective on things. Therefore....I think we're all in agreement that JP hasn't given this town 'so much' on the FIELD, except maybe migraines and (fan) hopelessness.
  5. I guess I didn't look at it that way. Thanks for clarifying for me.
  6. Quote from Lee Evans - "I definitely feel bad for him. I just hope that where ever he goes, things work out a little differently," Evans said. "It's a bad way to leave a town that you've done so much for." What, exactly, has he done that's been "so" positive for this town?
  7. Very cool site...never heard of it but it seems to work pretty well. thanks for sharing.
  8. "howling idiots" - that's awesome and you are right-on...we'll be back. we ALWAYS come back. sh@t it's tuesday night and already back. what the hell else is there to do on a cold sunday afternoon?
  9. I bought a Poz jersey during halftime at the Jets game for $80 with a HEAVY buzz on. It hasn't see the light of day since.
  10. Good for him. The game is irrelevant and in a few days no one will care.
  11. Buffalo has a record of 12 and 64 since 2000 with teams that have a record of .500 or better at gametime. That, and let alone both teams are in must-win scenarios, we are going 6-10.
  12. I'm with you. McNabb is a step up in talent but isn't the answer, and Parrish/McKelvin are game-changers and impact niche players with promise. As for a Vet - I'm not talking about a Kelly Holcomb-like Vet either. So, do we draft a QB and develop or shoot for a Grade A or B+ QB to compete? We need one or the other...
  13. I'm with you on Edwards, but you know that he's going down at some point with an injury next year. Then what? We're screwed unless you get someone with some experience in there....or... One angle (and not a good one) - Anderson had last year's run to put him on the map and Quinn was the rookie in waiting. Do you think the Bills will consider a 1st or 2nd round draft pick over a veteran to back up Edwards? Edwards was no where near Anderson of last year, but let's remember that in week 6 Edwards was one of the better league QBs, and in week 4 he was a legit MVP candidate.
  14. Admittedly I have zero idea who may be available or under serious consideration.
  15. It would have been fun. I remember when the fanfare was loud and exciting when Bledsoe came to Orchard Park. It would have been all that and so much more with Favre. That said, that was last year and we can't go there. If anything it will be interesting...I have a feeling they may make it somewhat entertaining, simply because the fan base is at a really low point. Something to drive excitement and interest would at least bring us back from 'where are they now' and irrelevant category that we're in.
  16. I like Trent and I think he has the head and heart to play the position. He also is capable of being a leader...but you're right that he's worrisome - injury-prone and pretty vulnerable in the cold weather. JP isn't even open for discussion and I don't think that is even a discussion, let alone an option. I also am with you on the defense. With Schobel back next year the D-line is different, and our LB core will be better without Ellison who is clearly in way over his head. Invest in the O and get some depth and confidence back.
  17. Right-on...do you think they look for a veteran with a name or a journeyman like a Frerotte, or draft?
  18. I like it...hell I like anything at this point, admittedly. Is he a FA at year-end? I think Charlie Batch is coming back to Pittsburgh from IR next year and Leftwich will be trying to get on as a competitive #1 somewhere. I don't think he's great but he's decent and can play in the cold.
  19. I'm not sure if anyone has posted a thread on this but I'm curious to see what the Bills will do next year regarding the QB depth chart. Do they pick up a free agent to back up Edwards (or put someone....like a Leftwich....into competition for the starting job), or do they look to the draft? Either way, they are so very thin there (obviously).
  20. The Patriots will be back as good as new next year with Brady and company returning. The Dolphins under Parcells' management are already better than Buffalo, and the Jets are committed to winning with a front office that wants to win ASAP. So, Given that tough road I can foresee a lot more divisional records of 1-5 or 0-6, and that could translate to a LLLLOOOONNNNGGGG drought. It hurts but I think it's pretty accurate. Your numbers look pretty decent though...I just would sadly stretch them a bit further.
  21. At least he didn't say 'has anyone seen my diaper?' That just as easily could have come out of his mouth.
  22. Did anyone notice if there is a buyout in the contract terms or is that information not released? I didn't look closely and haven't heard.
