Did anyone throw a shoe at Jauron during the press conference today? Some Iraqi journalist threw his shoes at Prez Bush in a show of defiance and disgust today. It would be priceless to see someone from the News or the Rochester D&C do the same.

Yeah the condescending goes with the territory I think. I lived in NYC for years and Francesa was somewhat brutal to most of the callers, yet he was respectful in the fact that it was never personal. That's where this jackass crosses the line. Mean...and that's just wrong.

Listen I know that the play needs to get called in the first place, but with a solid running game, you'd think that a play-action pass downfield was at least a possibility. I don't remember seeing one the entire game. It's not rocket science, but do you think Turk looks at JP and says " you know, the guy is an idiot and couldn't fake out a 3 year old in a shell game, let alone a solid defense...so I'll just avoid calling them." I remember a press conference with JP two years ago when someone asked him if the Bills lacked talent or were just over-rated going in to the season. He actually thought he needed to pick one and seemed completely stunned and at a loss to MAYBE deflect the question and say that maybe neither option was a good answer? I remember it vividly and thought to myself this guy is a box of rocks.

I was thinking the same thing on the screen they ran in the 4th quarter that Marshawn dropped...it was going nowhere anyway because as you stated they didn't think to throw the ball down field.

12-64...I keep going back to this record. It's Buffalo vs. a .500 or better team at the time of the game. That isn't close to good...it's probably the worst in the league or pretty damn close.

I don't keep listening Lori - in fact I haven't listened to him since the Dallas game last year. I just think it's pretty shameful but expected for WGR to continue to pay a guy who frankly stinks at his job. It's par for the course though with the Bills organization...anything that's associated with it right now is pretty poisonous (hence that's why I stopped listening to him a while ago). My email to him was a while back stating that his show relies on ratings, which translates to ad revenue, which translates to business people like me placing the ads in the first place. So, he takes it personally and inaccurately with the callers (like me) and I haven't listened since.

I COMPLETELY agree with you. Last year I called in after the Dallas game and out of habit I said "hey how you doing?" as I think every sports caller does. He hung up on me, and then went off and said "how do you think I'm doing??!?" and essentially proceeded to have a meltdown on the air. I sent him an email that evening, letting him know that he really should do something he enjoys because he certainly seems to hate his current life. I also said that I was a season ticket holder to both the Bills and the Sabres, drive in from Rochester for almost every game, and happen to put a few sentences together without f'ing up or losing my place. Anyway, I guess I wasn't the only one who contacted GR after his berating of the callers, and he brought it up on the air (he didn't reply back, however...I didn't expect him to). I guess this is just another chalked up relation to a losing organization - why should we expect some class to be connected to a classless group of chumps?

I'm pretty sure, because it's almost hard to come up with any logical explanation as to how and why this organization not only loses, but loses so well. The variety is truly exceptional. They say we don't have enough talent...not true! It takes creativity and hard work to lose this well.

Bills record since 2000 when playing a .500 or better team at that time...need I say more? This goes WAY deeper than a terrible call made by a poor OC under the leadership of a passionless head coach, called in to a mindless QB who continues to validate why he is a back-up. Soak that in for a moment...don't blame that one play on a wreck that has been the 21st century story of the Buffalo Bills. Who out there had that feeling the gut that you KNEW they were gonna blow it. I know I did. They are losers and it's a losing organization, period.

Hamdan is terrible...let's face it we have a quarterback who is the second coming of Rob Johnson in Trent "oh no it's cold outside" Edwards and 2 non-pro quarterbacks in the other two.
