  1. Having high standards, what a novel concept some on here have no idea of.
  2. i know you will get a million posts saying as long as we win it doesn't matter. IMHO i need to see a 300 3td game this year. Just to show me he can do it. We have had a pretty cupcake schedule. There is going to be a game where you going to have to put up points to win, unless you have a defense like Dilfer did with the Ravens. Seems the one constant outside of the glory years with the exception of a year or two with Bledsoe has been a sub par offense. This team wants to go the next level the offense is going to have to get much better, especially when going against the better teams.
  3. Allen is EJ with running ability. Check the stats.
  4. From any draft....."good in a phone booth".
  5. Are we in some sort of cap hell next year that I am not aware of? Over the cap has us at 87 million under in 2020.
  6. Green didnt have his leg amputated. He'll be back soon. At this point in their careers I think AJ is way more highly regarded than Lofton was. Like others have said we have the cap space. You could cut Murphy, Kroft(talk about a guy who get hurt a lot) and Spencer Long next year and have a 75 percent of what he would want a year. This team needs a receiver that can step in and produce. To me Brown and Beasley are 2 or 3 receivers not close to a 1. AJ is a stud.
  7. Bill Polian signed a 32 or 33 year old James Lofton. Seems like he knew how to build an offense.
  8. I kind of wonder if we take a LT and RT in rounds 2 and 3(get elite WR round 1), and move Dawkins and Ford both to G. LIne would be pretty set for a few years.
  9. You're not going to be staring for anybody if you are going to consistently throw more picks than TDs. This guy has a ton of work to do in year 2 to get to even.
  10. I watched the entire Chiefs game...the one thing that stood out is Andy Reid is bringing some freak speed from his entire WR corp.
  11. I agree, it is a concern. If this team is going to the next level, then there's going to be games you have to win in a high scoring game. 300 yards in your dad"s nfl was a whole lot different than today, same for the 4000 yards. Mahommes may go over 6000. So yeah I want to see a 300 yard passing day soon. That would tell me he's developing, seeing the field better and using that big arm to get some big chunk plays. That being said I think Josh needs more talent at the WR position.
  12. Stick a for in Mariota, guy does not have it. Never will.
  13. Seems like more of Gruden pick....
  14. Thank you......he talks way tooooooooooooooo much.
  15. The thing thats amazing about McD and this offense is we cant run the ball or pass the ball. Please list the guys ahead of McCoys zero TDs. Please explain to me anyone that is being coached up. Half a season and we cant get Shady in the EZ once? That's pitiful. Its coaching malpractice.
  16. There is zero doubt he is better than Nate or Barkley.
  17. Also remember Beane was trying to trade both first rounders to move up to 5 with Denver to take Allen, This guy is a loose as Whaley was with picks. If I believed this crap about building the team, I would of taken 6 guys in the first 3 rounds and made no trades up. Wonder if this team would be better with some young OL, WRs or a TE taken in the first 3 rounds, on rookie contracts. But hey looks like were going to have a top 5 pick in a draft where the talent in those picks is on the DL, that should help our inept offense.
  18. You know to constantly defend the moves this team makes year in and year out really takes an amazing lack of football knowledge. Any plan that involves your team becoming the laughing stock of the league is a pretty messed up plan. I always found the kool-aid drinkers don't have a clue on what makes a team good, if there is anybody not to listen to, it's them.
  19. Attack the messenger but that stat is scary in 1975 let alone in 2018. I will say this, there is a core group that will defend anything and I mean anything this team does. If I follow your vision, next year will be real better, escape from cap jail and we have extra picks. OK but then next year if this offense isnt getting much better, dont come at me with hey we have a bunch of rookies and first year players. There does come a point where you do have to expect some results and production instead of excuses for just one more year away from being good.
  20. With today's rules benefiting the offense that stat is even move scary.
  21. I wonder how much better our defense would be with a better offense. How many more plays they are on the field, its a physical game and they will take a lot of punishment as a result of the ineptitude of the offense. McClappy better come to that realization big time in 19.
  22. Our offense is hitting rock bottom and digging deeper. Its not good.
