  1. I would think a patent attorney would know it's $23,000, not 23,000$. But seriously, is not $2000 a month awfully high? Sounds like you are paying a large premium to avoid a deductible.
  2. I would just think it was figured in the price. Sorry, I never meant to imply you where a fat slob
  3. OK I buy a product mail order that the seller is presumably making a profit on at the asking price. Shipping being a extra I can understand, but what is this "handling" I am paying for? For some fat slob to take his feet off the desk and pull my order? Would they not be there and on the payroll even if didn't make a order? Or am I interupting someone's busy day so they can "handle" my order? Rant.
  4. I never disputed that there where bison in NY. It is the sheep/goats I would doubt. As far as the bison, I believe remains of mammoths were found near Batavia, so bison are not a stretch.
  5. I never said they would absolutely never go on flat terrain. But they are out of their environment. They stay close to the rough country, just like you never swim far from shore. As with any animal , the limiting population factor is the winter range. And their winter range is the high country. Their numbers have declined from over hunting more than habitat degradation by humans. Alaska is largely the same as it was 200 years ago, and I don't see sheep "herding" on the open tundra like a caribou.
  6. That would work for me. I was more alarmed with the lack of care for pan drippings. No foil, nothing? No gravy?
  7. They beat the housing bubble also. Course since price's have not risen since 1952,that was a little easer.
  8. But the guy in the story had a job. And he still put the baby in in the oven. If he was on welfare would it have been worse?
  9. Uhh the guy in question Had a job. A cook? Sound familiar?
  10. I beg to differ with McCutchen, but I find it difficult to believe sheep would be spending time in grass lands. Their focus in life is avoiding predators[bears, wolves]. They are not fast[antelope, deer] or big[elk, moose]] Their defense is the terrain they live in. I have never seen a sheep on flat land. And I see lot's of them.
  11. There is a point in your life where "cute" is not as important as "indigent".
  12. Sheep where always mountain animals. They do not graze in the low meadows in the summer like elk, in fact as the summer go's on they go higher, following the new growth up the mountain. Humans have not really intruded on their habitat much. It's hard to put a farm on a 45 degree rocky slope.
  13. So you think there where plains sheep? woods sheep? Swamp sheep? They went to the mountains long before any humans of any sort where in North America. There where predators long before people.
  14. High end Mobile home parks? Only in California
  15. Has anyone heard if the rest of the series is going to be online?
  16. Because this is the forum that never sleeps.
  17. I prefer Veal done in a moist heat. Maybe the kid was too lean for the grill.
  18. You need to get out and do some hunting. Only spine shots are instantaneous.
  19. And NK would have done what? Economic boycott of The Netherlands?
  20. Please, he was asleep and a burglar got into bed with him. Is the intruder high on PCP? Is he armed? Lot to think about when some one crawls into bed with you at 3AM. Shoot till the threat is over.
